The Affordable Health Care for America Act - Bigger is Not Better
The Affordable Health Care for America Act.The House health care bill has 1,990 pages and about 400,000 words.
Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said the House's version of a health care reform bill will include a government-run insurance option. Also wiill extend coverage to 36 million uninsured Americans. She said the bill will lower patient costs and reduce the national deficit.
_____________________________________________________________________________
1900 pages? This is ridiculous. Its outrageous. Its silly. And all that participated in this bill should be ashamed. Why?
Who has or will read this bill? No one, except the staffers that wrote it. Is this the way the House earn their salary? Is this what we pay for? This is not a joke, no, its beyond a joke.
These are elected officials who have let us down again. Many of these "law makers" do not deserve our vote- VOTE THEM OUT- ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Florida Rep. Alan Grayson - Out of Contol
______________________________________________________________________
FOXNews.com
Tuesday, October 27, 2009
Florida Rep. Alan Grayson reportedly called Bernanke adviser Linda Robertson a "K Street whore" during a radio interview that aired last month.
A Democratic aide of Grayson's later defended his statement, telling the newspaper, "The Congressman’s choice of the words referred to her career as a lobbyist and her history of promoting whomever and whatever pays."
_________________________________________________________________________
Alan Grayson has some bad habits, like his outspoken nonsense and rants.
What would be interesting, is finding out what he does for Florida. Does he do anything?
What is amazing, is that he could get elected. Amazing.

Islamic Genocide of MUSLIM on MUSLIM killings

Sunday 10/25/2009
BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraqi police said 147 people were killed and 540 wounded in twin car bombings that appeared to target government buildings in downtown Baghdad during rush hour.
___________________________________________________________________
This is another horrible mass murder caused by terrorists. They kill innocent people every day. I do not think we are winning anything over there. Its just getting worst, not any better.
We should leave, and let them run their own country. Iraq is pathetic. The whole region is pathetic. They are beyond reason, and help. Its a jihad. Its in their minds, and their whole fabric. It gives their entire being its meaning.
They are operating in the 7th century. They kill. They cut off your hands, or your head. They beat women and their animals are treated better than women.
We can only win if we become terrorists. And will not do that. Our rules of engagement cannot beat this enemy. We need to shoot and kill anything that moves. And will not do that. This is what the terrorist does, this is what they want, this what they understand, this is why they win. So we should leave. Do we stay because we want to help, or because they have oil?
There is no diplomacy with these terrorists, they do not understand this idea, it is a waste of time. You can only help people that want to be helped.
These terrorists hate us and the west. They do not want a democracy. There is no separation of state and religion there, like we are use to. That is a western idea. In Iraq religion is the state.
According to PressTV "Iraq's government says more than 85,000 people have died from 2004 to 2008 in violence-related incidents, following the US invasion of the country."
So, who is winning?

Billionaire Warren Buffett, who collects a $100,000-a-year salary for running Berkshire Hathaway Inc., said Wall Street pay needs a "downside" when profits deteriorate because of reckless bets.
"You have to put in something where there is downside to people who really mess up large institutions," Buffett said in an interview conducted by Business Wire, the Berkshire subsidiary that posts corporate press releases. "Too many people have walked away from the troubles they have created for society, not just for their own institution, and they have walked away rich."
"What you have to change in Wall Street, is you have to make sure that in addition to carrots, there are sticks," he said. "And it can't be a one-way street where they are making ungodly amounts of money when things are good and then they move on to someplace else for a while when things are bad."

When I was in college a few hundred years ago, one professor said, "its ok to make a mistake, as long as you do not keep making that mistake." I really did not buy this at first, I was raised not to make mistakes in the first place.
But we are human, and we are going to make mistakes and errors. So I fully accept this idea. Its ok.
Whats not ok, like Mr. Buffets says, is to walk away after you have made a mess, and to walk away rich.
There has to be somewhat of a penalty when you make a "mistake." This is how we grow up and learn. When you spill the milk, you have to clean it up. Someone else should not clean it up.
Everyone has responsibility. When you lose money, or you lose your house, because of you own selfishness and greed, someone else should not have to pay what you owe. That is the penalty for the "mistake"
This reminds one of how Washington and the WH operates. They make mistakes everyday, do they pay a "penalty ?" - Not usually.
But we the people can make them pay, by not giving them our VOTES. Think about this the next time there is an election, and you are going to visit the Polls.

To the parents and family of Somer Thompson, I am so very sorry for your loss.
May God help you all. I will pray for you all.
I too know what it is to lose a child. Our Colleen was take from us when she was twenty.
I am not going to lecture. But all parents must protect their kids, especially the young ones. They cannot ever be left unattended. We must know their whereabouts at all times.
There are very bad people out there. People that must be caught and prosecuted.
Pay Czar Feinberg to Slash Executive Pay
FOXNews.com
Thursday, October 22, 2009
"White House pay czar Kenneth Feinberg was the driving force behind the move to order steep pay cuts from bailed-out executives, and did not even seek the president's approval before making his decision.
The Treasury Department is expected to formally announce in the next few days a plan to slash annual salaries by about 90 percent from last year for the 25 highest-paid executives at the seven companies that received the most from the Wall Street bailout. Total compensation for the top executives at the firms would decline, on average, by about 50 percent."
This is what they want to do.
Is it constitutional?
This idea should not be allowed to fly. Its wrong. Kenneth Feinberg has no legal authority to do this.
Those concerned must challenge the government in this matter.
You and your pay could be next.
The government may have the right to levy and collect taxes, including income taxes.
But it does not have the right to decide or regulate how much compensation someone should make.
This is what is scary.
"But now, in a little-noticed move, the House Financial Services Committee, led by chairman Barney Frank, has approved a measure that would, in some key ways, go beyond the most draconian features of the original AIG bill. The new legislation, the "Pay for Performance Act of 2009," would impose government controls on the pay of all employees -- not just top executives -- of companies that have received a capital investment from the U.S. government. It would, like the tax measure, be retroactive, changing the terms of compensation agreements already in place. And it would give Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner extraordinary power to determine the pay of thousands of employees of American companies.
The purpose of the legislation is to "prohibit unreasonable and excessive compensation and compensation not based on performance standards," according to the bill's language. That includes regular pay, bonuses -- everything -- paid to employees of companies in whom the government has a capital stake, including those that have received funds through the Troubled Assets Relief Program, or TARP, as well as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac."
Back in March 2009:
Barney Frank has said that if there is too much opposition to government control of executive pay and bonuses, the government can always tax the excesses. Ways and Means Chairman Charles Rangel also has ideas on how to control pay as an excess tax.
The government is deciding what happens to you, what you can earn, what bonus you can receive. The feds have no right to decide such things.
So we are going to change the rules of the game, so the government will be sure no one will be on the same page or really understand what is going on.
To control, manipulate, instill fear and anxiety is what happens in Venezuela and Zimbabwe. This is not the function of government. Is that where this is going?
Where we need regulation we do not get regulation, where we need less regulation, we get more. Its very clear, the President, his staff, his czars, and the White House, are control freaks. This also applies to the House and the Senate as well.
What has happened to our country?
Obama Gets Tough, Chicago Style
From an earlier post.
The article by Gideon Rachman "Obama must start punching harder" is the worst thing BO can do.
Rachman says, "The notion that Mr. Obama is a weak leader is now spreading in ways that are dangerous to his presidency. The fact that he won the Nobel Peace Prize last Friday will not change this impression.
Peace is all very well. But Mr. Obama now needs to pick a fight in public – and win it with a clean knock-out."
Lets look at the last sentence again.
"But Mr. Obama now needs to pick a fight in public – and win it with a clean knock-out."
Look at this advice. "Pick a fight in public – and win it with a clean knock-out."
Ever since Gideon Rachman wrote the article, I see a change in Obama and his WH. They have an attitude. This is not very healthy for our nation. Now look at what has happened.
President Obama is getting tough, some say he has an enemy list. WOW that's what third world countries with dictators do.
If he does have a list, we know FOX is on that list.
It has been said that if you disagree with Obama and his White House, you may be on that list.
Lets look at the pillars of honesty and integrity who work in the White House and you decide who may be capable of compiling an enemy list.
Chief of Staff
Rahm Emanuel
Deputy Chiefs of Staff
Jim Messina
Mona Sutphen
Senior Advisors
David Axelrod
Valerie Jarrett
Pete Rouse
Senior Communications Director
Anita Dunn
This has to be the weakest WH ever. They need to get serious and get to work for the people, ALL the PEOPLE, not just their buddies. This country has some very serious issues, and this administration has a list of misplaced priorities. If the WH was a stock, it would be a laggard.
Their fight with FOX-FNC is just one example of these misplaced priorities. Its just a ploy to cause a distraction, so they think we can be fooled while they screw up on health care. But the WH is wrong, the America people can do two things at once. I only wish Washington could do two things at once. But they cannot do even one thing right.

White House Attacks Fox News
This is a very important initiative the Obama White House has undertaken. Not only important, but childish. But this is typical of this WH. Their notions are flawed, just like the character of the staff there, its flawed. Anita Dunn and Robert Gibbs should be very proud of creating more smoke and distortions.
The WH tries to smear FOX by saying FOX is "not a news organization so much as it has a perspective."
This is not true, and anyone with a half of a brain, knows better. Give FOX a little credit.
The White House thinks MSNBC, with Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Ed Shultz, and Rachel Maddow is NEWS? These four shows are full of vicious language, lies, half truths. These shows take turns at beating up Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann, and everyone who is a conservative and Republican.
I think the White House has better things to do than wage war with FOX. What a waste of time, money and efforts. The America tax payers should send the WH a bill, for overspending, and fine them for misplaced priorities. But the best thing the tax payer can do will be done at the polls next election.

More of the Same-Excuses
"Rampant Afghan government corruption might derail the war, even if 80,000 U.S. troops are sent, McChrystal reportedly says."
If you look hard enough, you are bound to find an excuse.
Everyone has know for some time now, that there is corruption in the Afghan government.
As a generic statement, I think there is some corruption in the entire Middle East. Also it could be said, there is some corruption everywhere.
Perhaps, there should not be wide spread corruption and abuses, but there is. Nice world, right? And getting worst every minute. Even here at home.
P.M. Brown to Send More British Troops to Afghanistan
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has announced he is sending hundreds more British troops Afghanistan. This will raise the authorized force level to 9,500.
Bravo Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
Thank you for your leadership.
I wish we had some leadership in Washington.
I wish, I wish, I wish.

Obama Must Start to do Something
The article by Gideon Rachman "Obama must start punching harder" is the worst thing BO can do.
Rachman says, "The notion that Mr. Obama is a weak leader is now spreading in ways that are dangerous to his presidency. The fact that he won the Nobel Peace Prize last Friday will not change this impression. Peace is all very well. But Mr. Obama now needs to pick a fight in public – and win it with a clean knock-out."
Lets look at the last sentence again.
"But Mr. Obama now needs to pick a fight in public – and win it with a clean knock-out."
Here is why this article is totally ridiculous and will not fly. And if BO tries this tactic, he will crash land.
The Obama WH and Anita Dudd want to wage war with FOX News. They will not win anything. To say BO needs to pick a fight in public will only ask for more trouble. He and his administration are already in deep trouble.
The Rachman article references the phase "right wing assault." I would argue that the "assaults" are based on the truth of the matter. Examples of the assaults include;
"Obama the false Messiah; Obama, the president who apologises for America; Obama, the man who is more loved abroad than at home; Obama, the man who never gets anything done; Obama the hesitant; Obama the weak."
Where did these notions come from? Obama himself, he has created most of his own problems. But it is easier to blame others rather than fix what you have done yourself; blame Fox News, pick a fight with the public, and blame others.
Obama has exacerbated his own situation. How?
He on many occasions has showed inexperience and naivete. The economy, granted he did not create all the woes, but he and his lawyers and economist are involved. He got involved with the GM and Chrysler and their unions. The Tarp Program, sky high unemployment, his stimulus package, creation of czars with no congress approval. Unneeded pressures from Van Jones. All these issues bring negatively to the President. Where did all this bad press come from? Most was BO own doing, and lack of doing.
A while back, he was traveling nearly every day, health care rallies, talk to unions( that's important) went to Wall Street - to scold. Lots of energy, very aggressive, and as usual, nothing got done. Then he had to appear on 5 Sunday news shows. Waste of time. Then off to Copenhagen. Then back to DC. His handlers, I guess David Axelrod and others have simply overexposed this President. He is trying to do too much.
Along with all of this, he seem to be dragging his feet with the possible increase of soldiers in Afghanistan. If we are going to stay in that region, and we are, why not gave the ok for more soldiers. There should be no strategy there, except to win the war, and you need more people on the ground to win. Enough already.
BO and all his close friends, come from Chicago. Did he think Washington was like Chicago? We will not compare the two cities, but it could be said that Chicago has enough corruption to go around.
Here is another flaw he has self created. Health care. He pushed and pushed until the little engine could go no more. What a joke, is it any wonder that Hillary Clinton could not get health reform moving? Its too big of an issue, the House and the Senate cannot handle it all. It should have been done in stages, not with one final bill. Any bill this big should have taken at least a year to complete.
One final idea. This President has a lot of support and friends, but he also has a lot of people who do not support or trust him and he has political enemies. This has nothing to do with race, this has to do with BO.
Many who liked him are now having buyers remorse.

Like the dance of the fire flies. Notice how Speaker Pelosi "moves" the instant Harry puts his hand on her shoulder.
I think Harry Reid has Alzheimer, and Nancy Pelosi wishes she had Alzheimer so she could forget about this "hit."
Consumer Financial Protection Agency (CFPA) another Obama Junk Initative
BO has a plan to create a new federal agency. The agency would oversee mortgages, credit cards and other consumer financial products.
This is another BO initiative for change. So you know it won't work, it will cost a fortune, and in the end will be another government disaster.
Watch out, Chris Dodd and Barney Frank will probably work on this bill. Do I have to say more?
Here is an idea for change, change BO on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. This will be the 57th quadrennial United States presidential election.
This new agency might sounds good to some, but wait. I think we have a few government agencies and private groups that already do this type of work. States also have these services. This is just another scheme to grow government and duplicate federal and state entities, so there will be plenty of jobs for government workers. Do you really think this agency can do it better? Everyone is good at something, Obama is good at spending money. Spending money we do not have.
Here is a list of agencies, groups and advocates for your info: There are many more.

Is He the Right Man for the Job?
Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., is chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. Rangel is at the center of a government ethics probe into whether he failed to pay taxes and disclose income on several properties.
Mr. Rangle is a smart man. Its hard to understand why he seems to be dragging his feet on his tax problems. Maybe he is waiting for a legal miracle to occur, and this bad dream will all go away. He must know better, he has a JD, is smart and knows his job.
He is being watched, and he knows this too, and as such, this has to be a distraction. Rangel holds a very important job, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. Many have asked that he step down as chairman until the situation is resolved.
With all his experience, education and knowledge, you would think he would want to fix his tax problems ASAP, and get all this behind him. He seems to be stubborn. Why? What can he gain? Maybe he waiting for a "deal" from the IRS.
He should know that this problem, which he created, will not just "go away."

Noble Peace Prize
What has he accomplished?
Graduated from Harvard Law School. Did teaching at the University of Chicago Law School. Community organizer. U.S. Senator from Illinois . President of the USA for 9 months, and the committee picked their candidates in February?
What has he done to win this award? You will have to ask the committee, because I do not have a clue.
Remember the head football coach of Pleasure Ridge Park High School who has been charged with reckless homicide in the death of a 15-year-old player who collapsed from heat stroke at practice. The Peace Prize award to BO is analogous to giving David Jason Stinson a coach of the year award.

The Government Needs to Stop Medicare Abuses
Revised from an earlier post.
According to Steven Malanga of the Manhattan Institute, experts estimate that "abuses of Medicaid (alone) eat up at least 10 percent of the program’s total cost nationwide -- a waste of $30 billion a year. July 23, 6:35 AMLaw Enforcement ExaminerJim Kouri.
The U.S. spends $800 billion a year on Medicare and Medicaid, $60 billion of which is estimated to be lost to fraud, notes the WSJ.
If this is true, then our government is letting us down. They are simply not doing their jobs.
Ask yourself, would you continue doing business with a bank that lost 10 percent of your money? Would you shop at a store that when you check out, charges you 10 percent more than you spent?
Obama and many other politicians have said that some of the short fall that occur when funding health care reforms will come from the stopping of Medicare fraud and abuses. Much money could be saved if the abuses were stopped.
This is nonsense, if you cannot stop the abuse before we have a signed bill, how can you stop the abuse once we have a signed bill? This is so typical of the government. They will tell something that they will do. But they do not know how they will do it, and when you ask them they cannot tell you how they will do it.
Its seems clear, either the government/Medicare are totally incompetent and do not know how to stop the Medicare fraud or they do not care. Either way we are not getting what we paid for.
The government needs to stop Medicare abuses, or at least do a better job. We have the Obama czars, an Attorney General, dozen and dozens of White House lawyers, and other resources. People are breaking laws when they commit fraud and corruption. This is reason enough to stop Medicare abuses and fraud.

Stop Iran - Stop Terrorism
I have said this till I am blue in face. Iran is the main trouble maker in the region.
There are reports that Iran supplies the Taliban in Afghanistan and Shiite extremists in Iraq with weapons and equipment.
This is totally outrageous, unacceptable and should not be tolerated. We are not playing games. This has to stop.
Put Iran on notice, that they are and we know they are aiding and abetting our enemies, and they are directly and indirectly responsible for the deaths and injuries to our troops. And this must stop, or will take tougher actions to see that it does stop.
Our militarily leaders will have to do this, for this President will not. Obama needs to wake up before its too late.

War Time President
President Obama does not have the stomach to be a War President. Grant it, its always better if you do not have to be at war, but this is part of the job. He seems hesitate to make a decision with General McChrystal's request for more troops.
Obama loves domestic issues. Health Care, Stimulus package, running off to rallies, Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, NYC Wall Street, appearing on five Sunday news programs, condemning banks and Wall Street greed. But political greed and ambition is ok. Just plain, no bones about it, Overexposed. The more the better. He is just so comfortable being in the lights with the cameras rolling.
Here are two domestic issues that are in trouble. Unemployment is 9.8 percent today and Heath Care bill.
You would think with all his czars, 40 some lawyers, dozens of economists and experts, his white house staff, all the help he gets from Vice President Biden (ya right), he would be making some head way with all these problems. But he is not. Has he completed one thing that he has started? He has not.
Too many people blame the Republicans for all of Obama's problems. They are blamed and said to be racists. Republicans are not racists.
Republicans do not dislike BO. But they do dislike what he says and what he stands for. His priorities seem misaligned, and at times there is a lack of clarity and distortions have been noted. No one is asking for perfection, even though many in Washington think they are perfect. It comes down to faith and trust.
Its a two way street Mr. President.
