The Affordable Health Care for America Act - Bigger is Not Better

The Affordable Health Care for America Act.The House health care bill has 1,990 pages and about 400,000 words.

Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said the House's version of a health care reform bill will include a government-run insurance option. Also wiill extend coverage to 36 million uninsured Americans. She said the bill will lower patient costs and reduce the national deficit.

1900 pages? This is ridiculous.  Its outrageous.  Its silly.  And all that participated in this bill should be ashamed.  Why?

Who has or will read this bill? No one, except the staffers that wrote it.  Is this the way the House earn their salary?  Is this what we pay for? This is not a joke, no, its beyond a joke.

These are elected officials who have let us down again. Many of these "law makers" do not deserve our vote- VOTE THEM OUT- ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. They should go green and recycle this Bill, and make toilet paper for the White House, the Senate, and the House.

  2. You're SO right. The bill is a travesty. However, I don't think it'll pass. There are two sides to the abortion debate, and two sides to the public option debate, and regardless of what they put in there, someone won't be happy.

Time to vote them off the island, in my opinion.
