Obama still thinks he can get the world to like us

There are about 195 countries in the world, depending how you count and recognize them. All of them do not like us. Only some. Obama thinks if we are nice - then these countries will be nice to us - Sure they will. No way. Treating terrorists killers like criminals is a mistake. They are war criminals. Obama and Eric Holder think its ok to treat them like criminals. Give these killers all the rights that American citizens are afforded. A mistake. They are given legal aid, then they stop talking, and we get no information. Why is this so hard for Obama to get this? He is a lawyer, well he has JD. We are at war. Not with a country, but rather with a group(s). Treat them as war criminals. We need to stop the political correctness that has terribly handicapped America. Because of political correctness we are seen as being weak. Our place in the world has eroded, decayed to a sad state. This is a gross embarrassment for our country, our leader, and the American people. This was not solely caused by Obama, but he has exacerbated the situation. He is seen as weak, he did this to himself, it is his fault, he is the country's apologist. Can he possibly blame George Bush for all of his weakness? All his lack of attention to duty? Four years will go by and BO will still be blaming Bush.

Ask yourself. Why are the terrorists attacking us lately? Because part of their systems include testing a plot. But the terrorist are really testing Obama. The terrorists learn from their mistakes and blunders. Then they make corrections. They are very patient. Next time we might not be so lucky. We were lucky this time. There will be a next time.

Trouble in Iran........................Again

UPI POY 2009 - News and Features
Looks like Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has done it again.  Why does he get so many people upset?
Maybe its because he is the tough guy in the region. Don't worry Obama will fix all of this. After all, he is such a strong president with wonderful ideas. It only took him three days to responded to the terrorist attack on Flight 253. He was totally busy - on vacation having fun in Hawaii. It took Janet Ann Napolitano, U.S. Sec. of Homeland Security, two tries to get her story right on the Sunday news shows. What a nice, caring, not strong, white house and administration, we have. We are so unlucky.

The Democratic Senate are so proud they passed the health care reform bill

U.S. Senate Votes On Health Care Reform Bill
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) (C) speaks amidst (L-R), Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT), Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY), Sen. Reid, Sen. Richard Durbin (D-IL), Sen. Christopher Dodd (D-CT) after the US Senate passed the national health care legislation bill by a 60-39. _______________________________________________________________________________________

These are five of sixty that passed this bill. They are so proud - because they passed "something." They are proud because they think they have done something great - and they believe this bill is "good for America." We shall see. Here are some of the results of their lies - distortions- illusions - half truths, and just general BS.
1. With this bill - you will pay more, and get less.

2. Pre-existing conditions will be covered - but will cost 60-80% more than the premiums of a healthy person.

3. If you live in Florida you can keep your Medicare Advantage plan, if you live in another state-you cannot, tough luck. A bribe for Sen. Bill Nelson. They needed his vote.

4. Louisiana gets a break with their Medicaid program, $300 million - a bribe for Sen. Mary Landrieu.

5. Chris Dodd, gets $100 mil for a hospital in his state of Connecticut.  Is your state getting money for a hospital?

6. Ben Nelson’s Cornhusker Kickback will cost $100 million for Nebraska.

7. $300 million California doctor payments.

8.Bernie Sanders from Vermont will get socialized medicine satellite clinics,  $10 Billion, two clinics in Vermont.

9.  New York and Pennsylvania will get Medicare Advantage help too.

10. $300 million California doctor payments.

 11. Vermont and Massachusetts will get help with Medicaid expansion costs

There are more goodies, for votes in this bill.  No one knows all of them - how many are hidden in the bill?  Harry Reid knows.

Come On Virginia - Change that law

Fil·i·cide
n.[L. filius son, filia daughter + caedere to kill.]
The act of murdering a son or a daughter; also, parent who commits such a murder.

 ___________________________________________________________________________

This story is  a total outrage.  Where is the logic in this law?

 _____________________________________________________________________________
Hot Air has reported:

"A woman in Campbell County, Virginia smothered her newborn infant, and police are powerless to do anything about it:
Investigators tell WSLS the baby’s airway was still blocked. They say the baby was under bedding and had been suffocated by her mother. Investigators say because the mother and baby were still connected by the umbilical cord and placenta, state law does not consider the baby to be a separate life. Therefore, the mother cannot be charged."

“In the state of Virginia as long as the umbilical cord is attached and the placenta is still in the mother, if the baby comes out alive the mother can do whatever she wants to with that baby to kill it.“, says Investigator Tracy Emerson. “She could shoot the baby, stab the baby. As long as it’s still attached to her in some form by umbilical cord or something it’s no crime in the state of Virginia.“

____________________________________________________________________________________

If she is allowed to smother her new born - she is nothing more than an animal.  Snakes and replies take better care of their off spring.

Where is the respect for life?

For the love of God, change this law.

This is What Total Incompetence Looks Like

Here are some of the stars of MSNBC.  Some are the stars of incompetence.
They are about as interesting as watching  a toilet  flush - same as their ratings, in the toilet.
I watch FOX everyday.  I watch MSNBC about a half hour a week, just to make sure they have not improved.  They never let me down.

The four on the right in the picture, Ed (Mr. Ed) Shultz, Chris (Hard Head)  Matthews,  Kieth ( Mental Case) Obermann, Rachel (La La ) Maddow are the worst of the bunch.

Many have said Fox News is an arm of the Republicans, this is bull. Fox just reports all the stupidity of the Democrats and liberals.

It is MSNBC and CNN that are the arms of Democratic party. They hate conservative views and policies,  they love big government, all they do is criticize Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann and all  republicans.  They do not report the truth, they report lies, half truths, and distortions.

If you watch  Ed Shultz, Chris Matthews,  Kieth  Obermann, and  Rachel Maddow you will see how they support BO and his pathetic white house.  Never a negative word for Obama from this group.

Watch them if you must, but be close to a bathroom, because this group will make you sick.

Tiger Woods - Fooled Around and Fell In Love

 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxsZKvZjEvs

An Elvin Bishop song dedicated to Tiger Woods in celebration of his transgressions.  Something you do when you cheat. He loved them all (in bed).

“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart.”

n.
  1. A violation of a law, command, or duty: "The same transgressions should be visited with equal severity on both man and woman" (Elizabeth Cady Stanton). See synonyms at breach.
  2. The exceeding of due bounds or limits.

I must have been through about a million girls
I'd love 'em then I'd leave 'em alone
I didn't care how much they cried, no sir
Their tears left me cold as a stone
But then I fooled around and fell in love
I fooled around and fell in love, yes I did
I fooled around and fell in love, I fooled around and fell in love
It used to be when I'd see a girl that I liked
I'd get out my book and write down her name
But when the grass got a little greener over on the other side
I'd just tear out that page
I fooled around and fell in love
I fooled around and fell in love, since I met you baby
I fooled around and fell in love, I fooled around and fell in love
Free, on my own is the way I used to be
Ah, but since I met you baby, love's got a hold on me
It's got a hold on me now, I can't let go of you baby
I fooled around and fell in love
I fooled around and fell in love, oh yes I did
I fooled around, fooled around, fooled around, fooled around,
fooled around, fooled around, fell in love
Fooled around, fooled around, fooled around, fooled around,
fooled around, fooled around, fell in love
I fooled around, fell in love
I fell in love, I fell in love, yes I did

Tiger Woods: Feeling Trapped?

2009 Australian Masters - Day 2
Poor Tiger. Hellva golfer. The best. The best ever. Too bad with all that talent he forgot he was married. A husband and a father. A Cheat.  No pass for you Tiger. You should have  known better. Many of your fans will be disappointed in you. Oh well, poor Tiger made a terrible bogey.

Dr. Laura will say you cheated and your wife must share some of the blame. This is bull. Dr. Laura will have us believe, Tiger's wife could not manage to give you what you needed? I won't buy this. Her logic is all wet.

So Tiger, you are in the wonderful group of the greatest golfers of all time - Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones, Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Jack Nicklaus, to name a few.
And now, you are in another group, this group includes hundreds who have cheated: the rich and famous like you. New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, David Letterman, and Gov. Mark Sanford (R-S.C.).

Tiger Woods is the best golfer ever. Many people think Tiger Woods was perfect, almost too good to be true. But this indiscretion shows he is human. I hope his wife can forgive him, but I am not sure she can.

What is so frustrating about Tiger Woods: people are in awe of his extraordinary athletic abilities. He has set so many records. And his followers and fans have given him much respect and admiration.  He has had a impeccable career,  he seems flawless. Now spoiled by a transgression.

It can be said that what Tiger Woods did was serious, but after all he did not kill anyone - but he did break a heart(s)

Money for Nothing - Rockers, Politicians and Lobbyists

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMkmHmcPLc8

Mark Knopfler
 ___________
Mark Knopfler

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMkmHmcPLc8

I was driving home and listening to C-Span and they were talking about heath care and reform. Also discussed was  the Medicare Part D, prescription drug plans. I am in that plan and medicare also. Callers talked about the pros  and cons of these plans. Politicians and lobbyists were mentioned. And how much these leeches earn.  Also discussed in another segment was how politicians take our  money and give it to their buddies,  like how Harry Reid gave Mary Landrieu  $300 million.
And for some reason I thought about Dire Straits and their hit Money for Nothing.
Please read the lyrics and you will see how the words can be applied to our friends in Washington, politicians and lobbyists et al.  I made bold the words that add clarity to my analogy.

Below are the lyrics of Money for Nothing - I took out the verses that repeat.

Now look at them yo-yo's, that's the way you do it
You play the guitar on the M.T.V.
That ain't working, that's the way you do it
Money for nothing and your chicks for free

Now that ain't working, that's the way you do it
Let me tell you them guys ain't dumb
Maybe get a blister on your little finger
Baby get a blister on your thumb

We got to install microwave ovens
Custom kitchen deliveries
We got to move these refrigerators
We got to move these colour T.V.'s

The little faggot with the earring and the makeup
Yeah buddy, that's his own hair
That little faggot got his own jet airplane
That little faggot he's a millionaire

Look at that, look at that
I should have learned to play the guitar
I should have learned to play them drums
Look at that mama, she got it sticking in the camera
Man we can have some
And he's up there, what's that? Hawaiian noises?
Banging on the bongos like a chimpanzee
Oh, that ain't working, that's the way you do it
Get your money for nothing get your chicks for free

Listen here
Now that ain't working, that's the way you do it
You play the guitar on the M.T.V.
That ain't working, that's the way you do it
Money for nothing and your chicks for free
Money for nothing and chicks for free

Get your money for nothing, get your chicks for free
Money for nothing, chicks for free

Look at that, look at that
Get your money for nothing, get your chicks for free (I want my, I want my, I want my M.T.V.)
Money for nothing and chicks for free
Easy, easy

That ain't working  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New War Tax for the Wealthy and Probably the Rest of Us

Labor Secretary Solis testifies on labor issues to House Committee in Washington

"Rep. David Obey, a Wisconsin Democrat and the chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, is the latest lawmaker to call for a new tax aimed at the rich to pay for a troop increase in Afghanistan."

The additional tax  would apply to those making more than $200,000 or $250,000. But don't hold your breath, we all will be next.  More taxes, are coming.  And this weak administration, continues to blame Bush.

White House Budget Director Peter Orszag has estimated that each additional soldier in Afghanistan could cost $1 million, for a total that could reach $40 billion if 40,000 more troops are added.
This cannot be right, just more legal stealing by the government.  Trying to get money they do not deserve.

If you have a job, just send in your pay check  to the IRS, they get most of it already. Then give away what you own, and go on welfare.  You'll get free heath care, now, not in 2012.  Free food stamps. Free clothes for kids, and maybe day care. Maybe  Federal subsidized apartment payments. You may qualify for your local utility to pay for some of your electricity and heat.  Contact ACORN, they know more tricks than I do.

Obama and the Congress can cut spending, but no,  they want to tax the rich.  I  guess its  easier for them.

But there will be a price to pay. This move could cost Obama his next election.

Washington officials do not always pay their taxes.

But they have the gall to ask us to pay an additional tax.  What an outrage.

Obama: People Could Lose Confidence and Lead to a Double-dip Recession

While President Obama was in China he made these points:

_____________________________________________________________________________
In an interview with Fox News:
"The United States' climbing national debt could drag the country into a "double-dip recession," President Obama warned in an interview with Fox News Wednesday from China, though he said he's still considering additional tax incentives for businesses to reverse the rising unemployment rate. "

"I think it is important, though, to recognize if we keep on adding to the debt, even in the midst of this recovery, that at some point, people could lose confidence in the U.S. economy in a way that could actually lead to a double-dip recession."

"people could lose confidence"?

People have lost confidence in YOU and your administration, and your White House has not helped.

Now you are worried about confidence.  Your initiatives are all expensive.  You said Health Care reform must be deficit neutral. Is it?  Another Obama  mess.
And there is  the Obama administration’s phony stimulus claims.  The Washington Examiner has  set up an interactive map that documents instances of government exaggeration-- or lies --over how many jobs were “created or saved” by the $787 billion stimulus package.

There is no excuse for this nonsense.  Obama is surrounded by economists and experts.  VP Biden has his own economist.  Just can't get the numbers right. They are only good at excuses.

Your campaign promises are off base too.  Too much smoke and mirrors. Distortions.

I posted a while back and told you then that you are not in Chicago.  You are in DC, and many are watching, watching you all the time.  Non stop watching. You may be the President, but there are people out there that are going to make you "pay" politically for every mistake you make. And you make them everyday.

Why Are So Many Small Kids Murdered? American Genocide

From the www. clarionledger. com

SANFORD, N.C. — "Authorities in North Carolina say they have found the body of a 5-year-old girl who disappeared a week ago.
Searchers found the body of Shaniya Davis off a road southeast of Sanford in the central part of the state.
Two people have been charged in Shaniya's disappearance, including her 25-year-old mother, Antoinette Davis. Police have charged Davis with human trafficking and felony child abuse, saying Shaniya was offered for prostitution. Davis is due in court Monday afternoon.Authorities have also charged 29-year old Mario Andrette McNeill, who was seen in surveillance footage carrying Shaniya at a Sanford hotel.
Shaniya's mother reported her missing last Tuesday."

 _______________________________________________________________________
Please look at this beautiful child.  She is gone now. A little life taken away, taken from us. That should not happen but it does all too often. She will not grow up and have a life.  Her life has been taken. She is gone now.
She will not laugh anymore.  Or cry anymore.  No more play time. She is gone now.

This hurts  to write about  this child,  who just had a start on life, and then her life was ended.  I do not understand why small kids are killed and abused so terribly.  Just makes no sense.

Still think the death penalty for murder is not right?  I hope justice comes quickly for this little girl.

Washington Post's Dana Priest thinks Nidal Malik Hasan was not Crazy, maybe Odd?

China Holds Annual National People's Congress, China's Parliament

RED FLAGS - NO ONE NOTICED - NO ONE CARED

Follow the link below to watch this sickening commentary.

http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=5658341n&tag=contentMain;contentBody

 _________________________________________________________________________
On Sunday, Face the Nation: Bob Schieffer spoke with Washington Post's Dana Priest.
about Roundtable On Afghanistan, Ft. Hood.

This was a truly pathetic interview.
She gave Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan  literally dozens of passes. Pass after pass after pass.  This was sickening.
She painted a very sweet picture of this terrorist.

Ms. Priest said he was a medical doctor and did not have the same treats as a infantry soldier.
She said Hasan was intelligent and soft spoken, who had no indication of violence.
The red lights (flags) came after the fact.
She said Hasan had a fascination with Muslims who had religious conflicts and  was trying to figure out what to do with these people, perhaps they should be classified as conscientious objectors.

While Hasan was at Walter Reed-
Priest made a reference to doctors who worked with Hasan.  "I don't think they (the doctors) thought he was crazy - maybe very odd."    ODD?   Your shoot and kill 13 + 1 baby its moms womb, you wound 31 some people, and you call this ODD?

ODD ?

Dana Priest you are Odd.  And you should be ashamed, not once did you mention the fallen victims  of this horrific crime, an act of a terrorist.

We Need A Better Count of Fort Hood Fallen Heroes

The news has reported the number of killed heroes at Fort Hood is 13. Its should be 14.
Special thanks to Michelle Malkin for bringing this info to our attention.
_____________________________________________________________________
"Francheska Velez was a 21-year-old woman, shot to death by Major Nidal Hssan at Fort Hood Army Base. Thirteen others were slain also.
Nine weeks into her pregnancy, Army Private Velez had just called her cousin in Chicago on Thursday to say how excited she was about the child growing inside her. By night, she and her child were both dead, bringing the death toll at Fort Hood to 14 total. Not 13."

Dodd Would Create 3 New Agencies

Senate Banking Chair Dodd Discusses Priorities Of Next Congress

Chris Dodd, Senate Committee Chaiman on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs

Sen. Chris Dodd wants to enact far-reaching Senate proposal to overhaul the financial system that would create three new agencies.  This move would  eliminate existing ones, to monitor risky bank practices and protect consumers. Where is the money coming from Mr. Dodd?

"This is not a time for timidity in this area. This is a time for some sweeping and bold changes," Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., said Tuesday. "It's been a long time coming."

Dodd says "This is a time for some sweeping and bold changes."

I have some sweeping and  bold changes-

Lets start by having Connecticut vote Chris Dodd  out of office.
Then  have California vote Nancy Pelosi out.
Then Nevada can vote out Harry Reid.
Then Maryland can say bye to Steny Hoyer.
Massachusetts can get rid of Barney Frank.

This will be a good start. If we can do this, the bulk of the trouble will be gone and the air will be a little fresher in DC.

Millions in Stimulus Funds to Aid Foreign Companies

Tasmania Goes Green For Eco Tourism

Sen. Schumer rallies with supporters of Judge Sotomayor on Capitol Hill in Washington
        Senator Charles Schumer

_______________________________________________________________________ FOXNews.com - November 09, 2009 Senator Charles Schumer, New York, Democrate, wrote a letter to Energy Secretary Steven Chu urging him to deny stimulus funding to a Texas wind farm that would rely on wind turbines made in China. Its been reported that $849 million in U.S. grants have gone to foreign wind turbine companies in the past two months alone. The $1.5 billion project would create up to 3,000 jobs in China but according to one report only 330 jobs in the United States, most of which would be temporary. ________________________________________________________________________________
There are American companies that make turbines,
General Electric (NYSE: GE) and Siemens AG (NYSE: SI) are two.

Why would our stimulus money be used to fund foreign companies?   All stimulus money should be used for American enterprises and projects,  and American jobs.
What is happening to our country?

Fort Hood - Another American Tragedy

Thirteen Dead In Mass Shooting At Fort Hood

Things like mass shootings are not suppose to happen in America at an Army base. But they do.
To all that lost their lives and were injured, we are very sorry.  To the families and friends of these brave Americans we are sorry, and please be strong during this very difficult time.  God Bless you all.

Congressional Budget Office Heath Care Bill = $1.2 trillion or more over a decade

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has referred repeatedly to the bill’s net cost of $894 billion over a decade for coverage. Republicans put the cost of the bill at nearly $1.3 trillion.

“Our goal is to make it as difficult as possible for’’ Democrats to pass it, House Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio said at a news conference. “We believe it is the wrong prescription.’’
 ____________________________________________________________________________
They just cannot get it right.
Obama says one thing, Pelosi says something else.  This is all bull crap.  Shape up Washington, this bill is too big for you, you have proved you cannot handle it all.  YOU have made another MESS.

You are showing America, every day - you do not know what you are doing. Business as usual.

You will not learn, so some of you will be asked to leave, when you run for office again.

Rush Limbaugh Rushes to Judgement

Rush Limbaugh

On Sunday, Chris Wallace from Fox News interviewed talk radio host Rush Limbaugh.  Limbaugh was very critical of the President.
__________________________________________________________________________
Highlights of the interview included:
Rush said Obama was immature, inexperienced and was in over his head.
He said Obama’s swift rise to the White House after “a five-minute career” makes him a “man-child president.”
I think he’s got an out-of-this-world ego. He’s very narcissistic.
Limbaugh belittled Obama’s surprise, middle-of-the-night trip last week to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware to observe the return of 18 flag-covered cases holding the remains of Americans killed in Afghanistan. “It was a photo op” designed to “create the impression that he has all of this great concern,” he contended.
_______________________________________________________________________________
David Axelrod, said in response Limbaugh's comments.  “I think it’s a surreal day when you’re getting lectures on humility from Rush Limbaugh. ... The fact is that he is an entertainer. The president has to run the country,” Axelrod said. “We walked into a difficult situation. I think [Obama’s] handling it very, very well. And most people believe that,” he added.
“There’s no surprise that Rush Limbaugh espouses the views that he espouses. ... He’s marketing the outrageous. But as I said, he’s an entertainer. We’ve got bigger responsibilities.”
_________________________________________________________________________________  "The President has to run the country."  Boy you would never know it.

"We’ve got bigger responsibilities."  Like Obama going to New Jersey to support Jon Corzine for the Governor race.

Why didn't David Axelrod  say of Limbaughs' comment, "you lie" ?  Because Alexrod couldn't. The truth hurts, but that's the way it is.

Here is some advise for this pathetic White House - Pick your fights wisely.

The Affordable Health Care for America Act - Bigger is Not Better

The Affordable Health Care for America Act.The House health care bill has 1,990 pages and about 400,000 words.

Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said the House's version of a health care reform bill will include a government-run insurance option. Also wiill extend coverage to 36 million uninsured Americans. She said the bill will lower patient costs and reduce the national deficit.
_____________________________________________________________________________

1900 pages? This is ridiculous.  Its outrageous.  Its silly.  And all that participated in this bill should be ashamed.  Why?

Who has or will read this bill? No one, except the staffers that wrote it.  Is this the way the House earn their salary?  Is this what we pay for? This is not a joke, no, its beyond a joke.

These are elected officials who have let us down again. Many of these "law makers" do not deserve our vote- VOTE THEM OUT- ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Florida Rep. Alan Grayson - Out of Contol

______________________________________________________________________
FOXNews.com
Tuesday, October 27, 2009

Florida Rep. Alan Grayson reportedly called Bernanke adviser Linda Robertson a "K Street whore" during a radio interview that aired last month.

A Democratic aide of Grayson's later defended his statement, telling the newspaper, "The Congressman’s choice of the words referred to her career as a lobbyist and her history of promoting whomever and whatever pays."
_________________________________________________________________________

Alan Grayson has some bad habits, like his outspoken nonsense and rants.
What would be interesting, is finding out what he does for Florida. Does he do anything?
What is amazing, is that he could get elected. Amazing.

Islamic Genocide of MUSLIM on MUSLIM killings

___________________________________________________________________
Sunday 10/25/2009
BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraqi police said 147 people were killed and 540 wounded in twin car bombings that appeared to target government buildings in downtown Baghdad during rush hour.
___________________________________________________________________

This is another horrible mass murder caused by terrorists. They kill innocent people every day. I do not think we are winning anything over there. Its just getting worst, not any better.

We should leave, and let them run their own country. Iraq is pathetic. The whole region is pathetic. They are beyond reason, and help. Its a jihad. Its in their minds, and their whole fabric. It gives their entire being its meaning.

They are operating in the 7th century. They kill. They cut off your hands, or your head. They beat women and their animals are treated better than women.

We can only win if we become terrorists. And will not do that. Our rules of engagement cannot beat this enemy. We need to shoot and kill anything that moves. And will not do that. This is what the terrorist does, this is what they want, this what they understand, this is why they win. So we should leave. Do we stay because we want to help, or because they have oil?

There is no diplomacy with these terrorists, they do not understand this idea, it is a waste of time. You can only help people that want to be helped.

These terrorists hate us and the west. They do not want a democracy. There is no separation of state and religion there, like we are use to. That is a western idea. In Iraq religion is the state.

According to PressTV "Iraq's government says more than 85,000 people have died from 2004 to 2008 in violence-related incidents, following the US invasion of the country."

So, who is winning?

BY ANDREW FRYE

Billionaire Warren Buffett, who collects a $100,000-a-year salary for running Berkshire Hathaway Inc., said Wall Street pay needs a "downside" when profits deteriorate because of reckless bets.

"You have to put in something where there is downside to people who really mess up large institutions," Buffett said in an interview conducted by Business Wire, the Berkshire subsidiary that posts corporate press releases. "Too many people have walked away from the troubles they have created for society, not just for their own institution, and they have walked away rich."

"What you have to change in Wall Street, is you have to make sure that in addition to carrots, there are sticks," he said. "And it can't be a one-way street where they are making ungodly amounts of money when things are good and then they move on to someplace else for a while when things are bad."
__________________________________________________________________________________

When I was in college a few hundred years ago, one professor said, "its ok to make a mistake, as long as you do not keep making that mistake." I really did not buy this at first, I was raised not to make mistakes in the first place.

But we are human, and we are going to make mistakes and errors. So I fully accept this idea. Its ok.

Whats not ok, like Mr. Buffets says, is to walk away after you have made a mess, and to walk away rich.

There has to be somewhat of a penalty when you make a "mistake." This is how we grow up and learn. When you spill the milk, you have to clean it up. Someone else should not clean it up.

Everyone has responsibility.
When you lose money, or you lose your house, because of you own selfishness and greed, someone else should not have to pay what you owe. That is the penalty for the "mistake"

This reminds one of how Washington and the WH operates. They make mistakes everyday, do they pay a "penalty ?" - Not usually.

But we the people can make them pay, by not giving them our VOTES. Think about this the next time there is an election, and you are going to visit the Polls.

Somer Thompson

To the parents and family of Somer Thompson, I am so very sorry for your loss.

May God help you all. I will pray for you all.

I too know what it is to lose a child. Our Colleen was take from us when she was twenty.

I am not going to lecture. But all parents must protect their kids, especially the young ones. They cannot ever be left unattended. We must know their whereabouts at all times.

There are very bad people out there. People that must be caught and prosecuted.

Pay Czar Feinberg to Slash Executive Pay

FOXNews.com
Thursday, October 22, 2009

"White House pay czar Kenneth Feinberg was the driving force behind the move to order steep pay cuts from bailed-out executives, and did not even seek the president's approval before making his decision.

The Treasury Department is expected to formally announce in the next few days a plan to slash annual salaries by about 90 percent from last year for the 25 highest-paid executives at the seven companies that received the most from the Wall Street bailout. Total compensation for the top executives at the firms would decline, on average, by about 50 percent."

This is what they want to do.
Is it constitutional?

This idea should not be allowed to fly. Its wrong. Kenneth Feinberg has no legal authority to do this.
Those concerned must challenge the government in this matter.

You and your pay could be next.

The government may have the right to levy and collect taxes, including income taxes.
But it does not have the right to decide or regulate how much compensation someone should make.

This is what is scary.

"But now, in a little-noticed move, the House Financial Services Committee, led by chairman Barney Frank, has approved a measure that would, in some key ways, go beyond the most draconian features of the original AIG bill. The new legislation, the "Pay for Performance Act of 2009," would impose government controls on the pay of all employees -- not just top executives -- of companies that have received a capital investment from the U.S. government. It would, like the tax measure, be retroactive, changing the terms of compensation agreements already in place. And it would give Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner extraordinary power to determine the pay of thousands of employees of American companies.

The purpose of the legislation is to "prohibit unreasonable and excessive compensation and compensation not based on performance standards," according to the bill's language. That includes regular pay, bonuses -- everything -- paid to employees of companies in whom the government has a capital stake, including those that have received funds through the Troubled Assets Relief Program, or TARP, as well as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac."

Back in March 2009:
Barney Frank has said that if there is too much opposition to government control of executive pay and bonuses, the government can always tax the excesses. Ways and Means Chairman Charles Rangel also has ideas on how to control pay as an excess tax.

The government is deciding what happens to you, what you can earn, what bonus you can receive. The feds have no right to decide such things.

So we are going to change the rules of the game, so the government will be sure no one will be on the same page or really understand what is going on.

To control, manipulate, instill fear and anxiety is what happens in Venezuela and Zimbabwe. This is not the function of government. Is that where this is going?

Where we need regulation we do not get regulation, where we need less regulation, we get more. Its very clear, the President, his staff, his czars, and the White House, are control freaks. This also applies to the House and the Senate as well.

What has happened to our country?

Obama Gets Tough, Chicago Style

From an earlier post.

The article by Gideon Rachman "Obama must start punching harder" is the worst thing BO can do.

Rachman says, "The notion that Mr. Obama is a weak leader is now spreading in ways that are dangerous to his presidency. The fact that he won the Nobel Peace Prize last Friday will not change this impression.

Peace is all very well. But Mr. Obama now needs to pick a fight in public – and win it with a clean knock-out."

Lets look at the last sentence again.
"But Mr. Obama now needs to pick a fight in public – and win it with a clean knock-out."

Look at this advice. "Pick a fight in public – and win it with a clean knock-out."

Ever since Gideon Rachman wrote the article, I see a change in Obama and his WH. They have an attitude. This is not very healthy for our nation. Now look at what has happened.

President Obama is getting tough, some say he has an enemy list. WOW that's what third world countries with dictators do.
If he does have a list, we know FOX is on that list.
It has been said that if you disagree with Obama and his White House, you may be on that list.

Lets look at the pillars of honesty and integrity who work in the White House and you decide who may be capable of compiling an enemy list.

Chief of Staff
Rahm Emanuel

Deputy Chiefs of Staff
Jim Messina
Mona Sutphen

Senior Advisors
David Axelrod
Valerie Jarrett
Pete Rouse

Senior Communications Director
Anita Dunn

This has to be the weakest WH ever. They need to get serious and get to work for the people, ALL the PEOPLE, not just their buddies. This country has some very serious issues, and this administration has a list of misplaced priorities. If the WH was a stock, it would be a laggard.

Their fight with FOX-FNC is just one example of these misplaced priorities. Its just a ploy to cause a distraction, so they think we can be fooled while they screw up on health care. But the WH is wrong, the America people can do two things at once. I only wish Washington could do two things at once. But they cannot do even one thing right.

White House Attacks Fox News

This is a very important initiative the Obama White House has undertaken. Not only important, but childish. But this is typical of this WH. Their notions are flawed, just like the character of the staff there, its flawed. Anita Dunn and Robert Gibbs should be very proud of creating more smoke and distortions.

The WH tries to smear FOX by saying FOX is "not a news organization so much as it has a perspective."

This is not true, and anyone with a half of a brain, knows better. Give FOX a little credit.

The White House thinks MSNBC, with Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Ed Shultz, and Rachel Maddow is NEWS? These four shows are full of vicious language, lies, half truths. These shows take turns at beating up Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann, and everyone who is a conservative and Republican.

I think the White House has better things to do than wage war with FOX. What a waste of time, money and efforts. The America tax payers should send the WH a bill, for overspending, and fine them for misplaced priorities. But the best thing the tax payer can do will be done at the polls next election.

I Say Good Lord - Lord Christopher Monckton

"Lord Christopher Monckton, a noted climate change skeptic, gave a presentation in St. Paul, MN. In this 4-minute excerpt from his speech, he issues a dire warning to all Americans regarding the United Nations Climate Change Treaty, scheduled to be signed in Copenhagen in December 2009."

More of the Same-Excuses

"Rampant Afghan government corruption might derail the war, even if 80,000 U.S. troops are sent, McChrystal reportedly says."

If you look hard enough, you are bound to find an excuse.

Everyone has know for some time now, that there is corruption in the Afghan government.

As a generic statement, I think there is some corruption in the entire Middle East. Also it could be said, there is some corruption everywhere.

Perhaps, there should not be wide spread corruption and abuses, but there is. Nice world, right? And getting worst every minute. Even here at home.

P.M. Brown to Send More British Troops to Afghanistan

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has announced he is sending hundreds more British troops Afghanistan. This will raise the authorized force level to 9,500.

Bravo Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
Thank you for your leadership.
I wish we had some leadership in Washington.

I wish, I wish, I wish.

Obama Must Start to do Something

The article by Gideon Rachman "Obama must start punching harder" is the worst thing BO can do.

Rachman says, "The notion that Mr. Obama is a weak leader is now spreading in ways that are dangerous to his presidency. The fact that he won the Nobel Peace Prize last Friday will not change this impression. Peace is all very well. But Mr. Obama now needs to pick a fight in public – and win it with a clean knock-out."

Lets look at the last sentence again.
"But Mr. Obama now needs to pick a fight in public – and win it with a clean knock-out."

Here is why this article is totally ridiculous and will not fly. And if BO tries this tactic, he will crash land.

The Obama WH and Anita Dudd want to wage war with FOX News. They will not win anything. To say BO needs to pick a fight in public will only ask for more trouble. He and his administration are already in deep trouble.

The Rachman article references the phase "right wing assault." I would argue that the "assaults" are based on the truth of the matter. Examples of the assaults include;
"Obama the false Messiah; Obama, the president who apologises for America; Obama, the man who is more loved abroad than at home; Obama, the man who never gets anything done; Obama the hesitant; Obama the weak."

Where did these notions come from? Obama himself, he has created most of his own problems. But it is easier to blame others rather than fix what you have done yourself; blame Fox News, pick a fight with the public, and blame others.

Obama has exacerbated his own situation. How?

He on many occasions has showed inexperience and naivete. The economy, granted he did not create all the woes, but he and his lawyers and economist are involved. He got involved with the GM and Chrysler and their unions. The Tarp Program, sky high unemployment, his stimulus package, creation of czars with no congress approval. Unneeded pressures from Van Jones. All these issues bring negatively to the President. Where did all this bad press come from? Most was BO own doing, and lack of doing.

A while back, he was traveling nearly every day, health care rallies, talk to unions( that's important) went to Wall Street - to scold. Lots of energy, very aggressive, and as usual, nothing got done. Then he had to appear on 5 Sunday news shows. Waste of time. Then off to Copenhagen. Then back to DC. His handlers, I guess David Axelrod and others have simply overexposed this President. He is trying to do too much.
Along with all of this, he seem to be dragging his feet with the possible increase of soldiers in Afghanistan. If we are going to stay in that region, and we are, why not gave the ok for more soldiers. There should be no strategy there, except to win the war, and you need more people on the ground to win. Enough already.

BO and all his close friends, come from Chicago. Did he think Washington was like Chicago? We will not compare the two cities, but it could be said that Chicago has enough corruption to go around.

Here is another flaw he has self created. Health care. He pushed and pushed until the little engine could go no more. What a joke, is it any wonder that Hillary Clinton could not get health reform moving? Its too big of an issue, the House and the Senate cannot handle it all. It should have been done in stages, not with one final bill. Any bill this big should have taken at least a year to complete.

One final idea. This President has a lot of support and friends, but he also has a lot of people who do not support or trust him and he has political enemies. This has nothing to do with race, this has to do with BO.

Many who liked him are now having buyers remorse.

Dirty Harry in Action

Go to you tube and play this piece of work - it is precious.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VE2VdmceZc

Like the dance of the fire flies. Notice how Speaker Pelosi "moves" the instant Harry puts his hand on her shoulder.

I think Harry Reid has Alzheimer, and Nancy Pelosi wishes she had Alzheimer so she could forget about this "hit."

Consumer Financial Protection Agency (CFPA) another Obama Junk Initative

BO has a plan to create a new federal agency. The agency would oversee mortgages, credit cards and other consumer financial products.

This is another BO initiative for change. So you know it won't work, it will cost a fortune, and in the end will be another government disaster.

Watch out, Chris Dodd and Barney Frank will probably work on this bill. Do I have to say more?

Here is an idea for change, change BO on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. This will be the 57th quadrennial United States presidential election.

This new agency might sounds good to some, but wait. I think we have a few government agencies and private groups that already do this type of work. States also have these services. This is just another scheme to grow government and duplicate federal and state entities, so there will be plenty of jobs for government workers. Do you really think this agency can do it better? Everyone is good at something, Obama is good at spending money. Spending money we do not have.

Here is a list of agencies, groups and advocates for your info: There are many more.

Is He the Right Man for the Job?

Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., is chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. Rangel is at the center of a government ethics probe into whether he failed to pay taxes and disclose income on several properties.

Mr. Rangle is a smart man. Its hard to understand why he seems to be dragging his feet on his tax problems. Maybe he is waiting for a legal miracle to occur, and this bad dream will all go away. He must know better, he has a JD, is smart and knows his job.

He is being watched, and he knows this too, and as such, this has to be a distraction. Rangel holds a very important job, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. Many have asked that he step down as chairman until the situation is resolved.

With all his experience, education and knowledge, you would think he would want to fix his tax problems ASAP, and get all this behind him. He seems to be stubborn. Why? What can he gain? Maybe he waiting for a "deal" from the IRS.

He should know that this problem, which he created, will not just "go away."

Noble Peace Prize

What has he accomplished?

Graduated from Harvard Law School. Did teaching at the University of Chicago Law School. Community organizer. U.S. Senator from Illinois . President of the USA for 9 months, and the committee picked their candidates in February?

What has he done to win this award? You will have to ask the committee, because I do not have a clue.

Remember the head football coach of Pleasure Ridge Park High School who has been charged with reckless homicide in the death of a 15-year-old player who collapsed from heat stroke at practice. The Peace Prize award to BO is analogous to giving David Jason Stinson a coach of the year award.

The Government Needs to Stop Medicare Abuses

Revised from an earlier post.

According to Steven Malanga of the Manhattan Institute, experts estimate that "abuses of Medicaid (alone) eat up at least 10 percent of the program’s total cost nationwide -- a waste of $30 billion a year. July 23, 6:35 AMLaw Enforcement ExaminerJim Kouri.

The U.S. spends $800 billion a year on Medicare and Medicaid, $60 billion of which is estimated to be lost to fraud, notes the WSJ.

If this is true, then our government is letting us down. They are simply not doing their jobs.
Ask yourself, would you continue doing business with a bank that lost 10 percent of your money? Would you shop at a store that when you check out, charges you 10 percent more than you spent?

Obama and many other politicians have said that some of the short fall that occur when funding health care reforms will come from the stopping of Medicare fraud and abuses. Much money could be saved if the abuses were stopped.

This is nonsense, if you cannot stop the abuse before we have a signed bill, how can you stop the abuse once we have a signed bill? This is so typical of the government. They will tell something that they will do. But they do not know how they will do it, and when you ask them they cannot tell you how they will do it.

Its seems clear, either the government/Medicare are totally incompetent and do not know how to stop the Medicare fraud or they do not care. Either way we are not getting what we paid for.

The government needs to stop Medicare abuses, or at least do a better job. We have the Obama czars, an Attorney General, dozen and dozens of White House lawyers, and other resources. People are breaking laws when they commit fraud and corruption. This is reason enough to stop Medicare abuses and fraud.

Stop Iran - Stop Terrorism

I have said this till I am blue in face. Iran is the main trouble maker in the region.

There are reports that Iran supplies the Taliban in Afghanistan and Shiite extremists in Iraq with weapons and equipment.

This is totally outrageous, unacceptable and should not be tolerated. We are not playing games. This has to stop.

Put Iran on notice, that they are and we know they are aiding and abetting our enemies, and they are directly and indirectly responsible for the deaths and injuries to our troops. And this must stop, or will take tougher actions to see that it does stop.

Our militarily leaders will have to do this, for this President will not. Obama needs to wake up before its too late.

War Time President

President Obama does not have the stomach to be a War President.  Grant it, its always better if you do not have to be at war, but this is  part of the job.  He seems hesitate to make a decision with General McChrystal's request for more troops.
Obama loves domestic issues.  Health Care, Stimulus package, running off to rallies,  Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, NYC Wall Street, appearing on five Sunday  news programs, condemning banks and Wall Street  greed.  But political greed and ambition is ok.  Just plain, no bones about it, Overexposed.  The more the better. He is just  so comfortable being in the lights with the cameras rolling.
Here are two domestic issues that are in trouble.    Unemployment  is 9.8 percent today and Heath Care bill.
You would think with all his czars, 40 some lawyers, dozens of economists and experts, his white house staff, all the help he gets  from Vice President Biden (ya right),  he would be making some head way with all these problems.  But he is not. Has he completed one thing that he has started?  He has not.
Too many people  blame the Republicans for all of Obama's  problems.  They are blamed and said to be  racists. Republicans are not racists.
Republicans do not dislike BO.  But they do dislike what he says and what he stands for.  His priorities seem misaligned,  and at times there is a lack of clarity and distortions have been noted. No one is asking for perfection, even though many in Washington think they are perfect.  It comes down to faith and trust.
Its a two way street Mr. President.

Another Selfish Obama Initiative

BO is going to Copenhagen  to beg, barrow and steal the Olympics  for Chicago.  He will have you believe he is doing this for America. Bull, he is doing this for Obama  and his Chicago ( Oh its payback time for his Chicago buddies).
Can Chicago afford the Olympics?  Maybe they will use some of the left over tarp and stimulus money.
I am not sure Chicago  can offer the kind of security that will be needed for an international event, such as the Olympics.  Chicago cannot maintain law and order within itself, let alone an infusion of millions of people who are likely to attend this event in 2016.

Seems to me, with his lack of experience and judgment, Obama does not do anything unless it benefits him and his agenda.  He talks a good story, he articulates well  so it always sounds good.  But its not good, you have to ask yourself,  are his motive truly genuine?

Jimmy Carter thinks racism is alive and well.  I do not think people are directly racist when it comes to Obama.  Many people do not like the President, and many do not like what he stands for.  Its not his color, or his race, its him, the person, his mannerism,  his arrogance, his distortions, lack of experience, these are the  qualities  that people do not like about him. There have been  times with BO seems disingenuous.  He has lost some credibility with the American people.  They see him as a cheerleader, a rock star.  Americans do not want this from  the leader of the free world. They do not want a cheerleader.  We want and need a  leader.

It can be said, being President is a learning  curve - because once elected as President, this is something you  have never done before. There is no school or training program to be President.  You may have done similar duties both  in the political and diplomatic sense, but its not the same.  The President of the United States is a truly unique position, some do well at it, some make the necessary adjustments, and some simply do not do well as President.  So far Obama has not done well as President.

If Obama and his administration continue on their present path of mistakes, miscalculations, and misinformation, he will not have a respected legacy.

Maybe I expect too much.  God only knows, we could use a higher standard in this country.

Will Iran Get Another Pass?

Here is my take on Iran.

They will get another pass.  Because potential sanctions will be meaningless.
Why? Because the U.S.A., UK, France and Germany can do nothing about the will of Russia and China or North Korea.  Maybe Iran will allow inspection of their nuclear facilities, maybe not.

It will not matter, they will not stop at what they are doing.  They have an agenda, their goal is to be the power of their region.

Israel already has the bomb.  Israel is the biggest and most treating enemy of Iran.  They are paranoid with Israel. If Iran develops a nuclear device, Iran will be on a more level playing field with Israel.

For Iran to be the main  power of the region, they must develop more weapons. The more powerful the weapons, the more power they will have. They will not stop, unless they are forced to stop. Sanctions will not help, they are nothing more than a hiccup.

The Shameful Betrayal of Israel

Its hard to understand why Israel is being treated so badly. Something has changed.  Israel is not the troublemakers  in the region.
The bad "children" in the area are Iran and the Palestinians.  These two are professional troublemakers.
Iran will never be our friend.
Obama does not get it. He is anti Israel. He threw the Jews under the bus again. This is an error.

And the U.S will pay for this mistake. BO should leave foreign affair in the hands of Hillary Clinton.
Israel is our only friend in the region, and probably our only true friend in the world

Liberals are so supportive with this President, they cannot see any of his flaws, distortions, and lies. They too are childish, because they think with their hearts, they do not think with their heads(minds). Yes liberals love their cheerleader. Too bad he not more of a leader.

Yesterdays speech at the UN was pathetic.
Obama was in  good company.

Libya's Khadafy and Iran's Ahmadinejad. Disgraceful. Shameful.

What a second class,  phony act, so true of all Obama rhetoric.
America's apologist. Just words, lots of words, but with little or no meaning, what he has in luster, he lacks in being genuine.

Obama: Cheerleader, but not a Leader

I have watched BO for quite a while now. During his presidential campaign he has given some great speeches and debates. I have watched his rallies on health care reform. Full of enthusiasm,  the rhetoric seems believable, but its not. First and foremost, he is a politician. You should always remember this. Perhaps not of the caliber of a Bill Clinton, nevertheless a smart, articulate politician.  Obama can make what he is saying, sound true and believable. But this what a professional politician  does.  Is he more of a salesman than a statesman?
He is so overexposed, he appeared on five News shows, but not Fox,  on Sunday, September 20,2009, this is ridiculous.
If you listen carefully, and those that support him unconditionally should do, you will begin to see some of the flaws, distortions, and misinformation he can peddle.
I see right through his rhetoric and its getting old.  This is especially obvious when he enters into a rally.  He runs out onto the stage, yells to his fans, "Helloooooooooooooo Minneapolis, or "Helloooooooooooooooo Cleveland "  Then he starts, " Are you fired up ?" This is what a rock star does, this is what a cheerleader does.  Its not what the President of the United States should do.  Is there any wonder why many people do not respect this man.  The poor voter, the voter who thought he was getting a President,  and only to get a rock star with a big smile, and a Cheerleader.
We didn't elect a Cheerleader, we wanted a leader.
This will not change, because BO does not have the insight, and maturity to change. But for his own good he had better change something, or else he will have a failed term, and a second term will be out of the question and out of his reach.

Another Teaching Moment

President Obama talked to Wall Street yesterday. BO is a smart guy, but he is naive.  He knows nothing about Wall Street, investors, markets and the like.  He demonizes banks, bonuses and investors, we are just a greedy bunch. If he has his way,we will take the risks, and if we have gains, he will be happy to tax our gains and profits.  But he and Barney Frank will fix Wall Street......... right.
Maybe banks take too much risk, if they do, and they fail, then they should fail. We have a system of bank regulators, where were they? - the same place the SEC was at when they were suppose to be watching the shenanigans of Bernie Madoff.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

"The size of the world stock market was estimated at about $36.6 trillion US at the beginning of October 2008. The total world derivatives market has been estimated at about $791 trillion face or nominal value."

There is alot at stake here.  If he over regulates, markets, banks and companies, and  the risks become minimal, then returns on investments  will become minimal.  Investors that are willing to take on more risk ( in hopes of a greater return, they will have no choice but to invest in markets (foreign) that will potentially offer greater gains, for greater risk.

ACORN

This is a corrupt enterprise. Just like the Obama White House.  ACORN needs to be investigated by the Justice department.  ACORN gets tax payer money.  Lets stop paying for corrupt illegal activities.
BO and Rahm Emanuel  are deeply involved with ACORN. These two men, and others seem to surround themselves with crooks, thieves,  and liars. There is just no end to the shenanigans of this administration.
I think U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and the 41 White House lawyers will be very busy in the near future.

Medicare - Fraud, Abuse and Corruption

"We estimate that for every $1 we spend to stop fraud in the system, we save $1.55," said Kathleen Sebelius "The President`s budget lays out funding for anti-fraud
efforts over five years that we estimate could save $2.7 billion by improving overall oversight and stopping fraud and abuse within the Medicare Advantage and
Medicare prescription drug programs."
