BO is going to Copenhagen to beg, barrow and steal the Olympics for Chicago. He will have you believe he is doing this for America. Bull, he is doing this for Obama and his Chicago ( Oh its payback time for his Chicago buddies).
Can Chicago afford the Olympics? Maybe they will use some of the left over tarp and stimulus money.
I am not sure Chicago can offer the kind of security that will be needed for an international event, such as the Olympics. Chicago cannot maintain law and order within itself, let alone an infusion of millions of people who are likely to attend this event in 2016.
Seems to me, with his lack of experience and judgment, Obama does not do anything unless it benefits him and his agenda. He talks a good story, he articulates well so it always sounds good. But its not good, you have to ask yourself, are his motive truly genuine?
Jimmy Carter thinks racism is alive and well. I do not think people are directly racist when it comes to Obama. Many people do not like the President, and many do not like what he stands for. Its not his color, or his race, its him, the person, his mannerism, his arrogance, his distortions, lack of experience, these are the qualities that people do not like about him. There have been times with BO seems disingenuous. He has lost some credibility with the American people. They see him as a cheerleader, a rock star. Americans do not want this from the leader of the free world. They do not want a cheerleader. We want and need a leader.
It can be said, being President is a learning curve - because once elected as President, this is something you have never done before. There is no school or training program to be President. You may have done similar duties both in the political and diplomatic sense, but its not the same. The President of the United States is a truly unique position, some do well at it, some make the necessary adjustments, and some simply do not do well as President. So far Obama has not done well as President.
If Obama and his administration continue on their present path of mistakes, miscalculations, and misinformation, he will not have a respected legacy.
Maybe I expect too much. God only knows, we could use a higher standard in this country.
