Liars, Cheaters and Indiscretions.

Lets have some fun with the rich and famous. Every few days we will add a name or two to compile a list of recent Liars, Cheaters and admitted Indiscretions. We will keep this up for awhile, to remind everyone, how nice the rich and famous can be.

(1). Governor Mark Sanford, Republican governor of South Carolina announces his infidelity. June 24, 2009.


(2). New York Governor Eliot Spitzer had patronized a prostitution service called Emperors Club VIP.[1] This ultimately led him to announce his resignation as governor on March 12, effective March 17. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

(4). Bernie Madoff, a former chairman of the NASDAQ stock market, has been arrested and charged with running a multi-billion dollar hedge fund swindle (Ponzi Scheme) in New York. Dec 2008.

(5). Feb. 17, 2009 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. regulators accused R. Allen Stanford of running a “massive, ongoing fraud” through his Houston-based Stanford Group Co. while selling about $8 billion in certificates issued by an affiliated bank in Antigua.

(6). The SEC charged Countrywide Chief Executive Angelo Mozilo with securities fraud. He is accused of "selling his Countrywide stock for nearly $140 million in profits while knowing that Countrywide's business model was deteriorating." June 4, 2009.

(7).  On March 16, 2009, a Philadelphia Federal jury convicted Fumo on 137 counts of corruption, conspiracy, fraud.
Former Sen. Vincent Fumo who prosecutors said became "drunk with power" in his many years in the state senate was sentenced Tuesday to 55 months in prison for corruption.
