Con Artists Unite

Here we have  it.  A former President, Bill Clinton,  and  the present want to be  President Obama.

Mr.Clinton was asked to the White House to conduct  a news conference  and bless BO tax package.

BO left the conference so he could  attend a Christmas party.  What a man!  What guts.  What brains.  What an embarrassment.

BO is suppose to be the leader of the free world.  NO WAY.  He is no leader.  Just a cheer leader.

Some people think it was a great thing to have Bill Clinton at the WH.  They think this shows a leader, in BO.

Wake  up.  It shows weakness,  A true leader, someone who is strong, does not need a former President to bless his plan.

Oh, by the way, I understand. BO plan to extend the Bush tax cuts is loaded with pork, and the libs are going to screw us all with the estate tax proposal.  Just another Obama con job.

This WH has learned nothing from the last election. Just spend, and spend more.  Print money and print more.

Rangel asks supporters to call Capitol switchboard

Its been a rough two years for Charlie. But remember he created the mess.

Rangel is in trouble, the House Ethics committee recommended censure for financial and fund raising violations — the most serious discipline short of expulsion.

Rep. Charlie Rangel of New York is pleading with supporters to call the Capitol switchboard and urge their representatives to oppose a resolution to censure him.

I may call.  And  ask them to remove you.  When they kick you out, take  Nancy Pelosi with you.

Haste la vista .............................Charlie baby

Obama: Stop blaming John Boehner (R-OH)

U.S. House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) speaks during a news conference December 4, 2009 on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Boehner spoke on the nation's economy and the unemployment situations.  (Photo by Alex Wong/Getty Images)" /></a><script type="text/javascript" src="http://view.picapp.com//JavaScripts/OTIjs.js"></script>
 ____________________________________________________________________

Every chance BO gets he blames someone.  He has blamed George Bush many times  for the economy.  BO says the mess was left to him - it  was all Bush's fault.

Now, lately Mr. Obama blames John Boehner (R-OH) U.S. House Minority Leader all the time.   One speech BO mentioned  John Boehner's  name  eight times.  BO thinks Boehner still wants the tax cuts to go to the rich. Enough already.

Obama went to Marth"s Vineyard for a 10 day vacation. Not one word about the economy.

John Boehner may not be perfect, and BO is not perfect, even though BO thinks BO is perfect. Presidents do not call out people like BO does. No class here, just immaturity, childish  rhetoric.  It makes Obama feel good when he can criticize someone, put the blame on someone else.  He is good at this.  Too bad  he is not good at being President.

Foolish Little Girls

http://view2.picapp.com/pictures.photo/image/9441211/obama-appears-the-view-new/obama-appears-the-view-

Here our President appears on the View.  Wow, so exciting. As usual he is doing important work?

He should quit his day job and join these ladies full time.  All that talent going to waste.

AMERICA HAS CHANGED - but you need to be old enough to know it.

I grew up in the 60's and 70's.  Not the greatest time , not the worst.  We had our share of crap.  Vietnam, 4 students killed in Kent Ohio, fires in DC and Philly. 120 cities had riots in 1968.  Even so low, they killed our President, JFK.   But that was not enough, they killed Martin Luther King and JFK brother, Robert.

The sixties had a lot of racial unrest and other problems. We were not too modern - had no cellphones in those days. And even without cell phones we functioned.  But America had a wonderful appeal. Not like today.  Today America is roads, interstates, and houses, and places to shop.  And we keep building houses.  Ask why?  Maybe so people can move into to theses homes and then foreclose on them.

_________________________________________________________________________

Here is what changed.  Government was smaller then.  Today government tries to control too much of us.  Almost everything we do.  We can thank Obama and the Democrats for this.  They write laws that are not read, and only serve a few. The government spends too much.  Our debt is out of control.

We have new words and phases we did not use in the sixties and seventies.   Here are a few.

1.  Politically correct.
2.  Trillion dollar deficit
3.  Never let a good crisis go to waste
4.  Jihad and  Al-Qaeda
5.  Terrorist.
6.  TARP- Troubled asset relief program
7.  Military  rules of engagement.
8. Cell phones

_______________________________________________________________________
We have government, banking and corporate greed at unprecedented levels.  We have
government, banking and corporate corruption at unprecedented levels.

Today our corporations and banks are demonized by some.  Years ago this is where America worked.  we love companies and banks, now they are hated.

America changed when we lost  manufacturing jobs.  This was the beginning of the end.  Did you think we could possibly run America on McDonalds,  ExxonMobil gas stations and Citi bank??

We need to make stuff.  We do not need a another stock brokerage. On line or other wise.  If you do not have a job you cannot invest.

All the laws and regulations that Congress has written and passed are not looked at until there is a crisis - like the BP oil spill.  Was this an accident caused be Government lack of attention or just corporate greed? Or did the government like its relationship with big oil, especially when big oil gave big campaign pledges to politicians?

Goldman Sachs is accused of fraud by the SEC. Was it legitimate or just plain greed?  The banks spend millions of dollars to lobby for what they want.  More corruption.

The world has changed too.
Greece is nearly Bankrupt. Certain members of the great European Union are in trouble - PIIGS. Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain.
This is what happens when you spend more than you take in.This where we are headed.

_________________________________________________________________
If America is going to survive, some things must change.

Out debt, what we owe to China, and  our deficits must decrease.  They  simply cannot continue to increase at the present rate.
We cannot continue to give monetary aide to foreign countries. We need to stop buying our friends.
We need a balanced budget, ASAP.  Federal and all states.
States can no longer give teachers and union workers lucrative pensions,  that have been underfunded and were not contributed to by their union members.
We spend to much on two wars that we cannot win. We need to leave the middle east alone, and get out of there.
Foreign countries are surpassing us in math and science. Foreign countries send more kids to college than we do, and more get technical degrees.  More girls go to college than boys.

We all have to ask ourselves, What has happened to our country?

There is Incompetence all around us.

_____________________________________________________
Pronunciation: \(ˌ)in-ˈkäm-pə-tənt\
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle French incompétent, from in- + compétent competent
Date: 1595
1 : not legally qualified
2 : inadequate to or unsuitable for a particular purpose
3 a : lacking the qualities needed for effective action b : unable to function properly <incompetent heart valves>
incompetent noun

_______________________________________________________

Is it just me?

I can see and feel incompetence all around us.  Maybe some of the problem is semantics. Maybe not.

BP wants to try  to "top kill" to seal the leaking oil well.  While Obama and the congress want to "bottom kill" the rest of the country.

I watched officials from Louisiana and parishes near New Orleans complain that nothing is getting done, in regards to the BP oil spill disaster.  Their hands are tied.   Everyone is lying,   The government, BP, Department of the Interior, lawyers.  Lies, Lies, Lies.  No one is  in charge.  Not BP, not the Government, not Louisiana , not the Coast Guard, not the parishes, not the fishermen, not the lawyers.

I watched James Carville and his wife Mary  Matalin, both from Louisiana, who appear on CNN, complain and showed their frustration as they observed the oil that had reached the shore. Blame BP. Not Obama. These two look at their state everyday. It must be tough to see nothing getting done.

Gov. Bobby Jindal was there also.  He was frustrated also.

The officials from Louisiana should have started the oil clear up themselves. Before it ever reached the
freshwater wetlands of Louisiana's southeastern tip.  Then they could have given BP the bill for the clean up.But they did nothing - incompetent.  They helped ruin their own wet lands.  Just like Katrina,  Louisiana waited for the federal government and  FEMA, to take care of the emergency, but it took too long.  And New Orleans was pretty much ruined because nothing was done from the beginning of the storm.

What a pathetic press conference.
The President cares. Sure he does. He gave a press conference today, first press in months, but he cares.  He cares about Barbra Boxer too.   He claims from day one of the oil spill he was on top of it.  Is he in charge? or is BO just a figure head of the government.  Does he have any leadership qualities at all?  This happened on his watch.  I hope he knows that. Of course, Obama will blame George Bush for this entire mess if given the chance.

Look at this President and his WH, all incompetent.  Not a leader. Do they really think we will accept all their shenanigans?

Here is an abridged career path of BO.  Educated, community organizer, Senator, President.  He did well for the first two.  Terrible for the last two -incompetent.

Look at the Congress, all incompetent. They held hearings on the spill.  They condemned BP officials, criticized their safety record.  They want to change the law, make it tough on oil drilling, yes they are real tough.  They are tough - after there is an explosion and a fire, people get killed, an oil rig sinks to the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico and the biggest oil spill ever occurs.  Yes, like Obama they are tough. And they are incompetent.

The main stream media is incompetent too. How about MSNBC  Here is the best of the worst.  Hardball with Chris Matthews  , Ed Shultz, Keith Obermann, Rachel Maddow. Pathetic, disgraceful, common, losers. They do nothing well. They know nothing - except how to bash Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann and all Republicans.  They love big government and big spending. They love Obama. Obama can do not wrong - ever.

Incompetence: Last example.

All these busy people - doing nothing, and getting nothing done.  But I bet the lawyers are getting things done. Getting ready and filing thousands of law suits and claims. Yes the lawyers are real busy, busy counting the money they will make off of BP.

BP - The Oil Spill Clock is Ticking.

From Wikipedia:

The Deepwater Horizon oil spill (also referred as BP oil spill,[5] Gulf of Mexico oil spill, and Macondo blowout) is a massive ongoing oil spill and oil gusher in the Gulf of Mexico that started on April 20, 2010. The spill followed a blowout that caused an explosion on the Deepwater Horizon offshore drilling rig, which then sank off the coast of Louisiana.[2] Eleven rig workers are missing and presumed dead; the explosion also injured 17 others.
______________________________________________________________________

BP has fabricated a containment tank to seal the oil leak in the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. This attempt failed, because of an ice slush formation that disallowed flow to a recovery vessel.

The oil spill is huge,  and an explosion that finally sunk the oil rig.

MSN Money has reported: "BP’s current liability for the massive oil spill is capped by law at $75 million. Senator Robert Menendez (a Democrat from New Jersey) has other ideas, however: He is co-sponsoring a measure that would lift the liability limit to $10 billion -- yes, that’s with a ‘b’ -- and would do so retroactively, so it could apply to the April 20 spill."

This was an unprecedented event.

I watched the House and Senate hearings, who questioned BP,
Transocean Ltd, and Halliburton officials.  This is a very technical industry, I do think the congress subcommittees is out of the league here.  Think about this.  If BP does not know what is going on, how can the House or the Senate know anything about what happened.

I do not think BP has  a clue how this happened.  Whats worst, BP does not seem to have a clue how to stop this spill.

I predict,  many people are "out for blood". Including Senators and  members of the House. All the coastal states that are affected by this spill will sue. Fishermen, hotel chains, beach communities will sue. There will be a long list.  No one will truly win, accept maybe the lawyers.

When can we trust banks? - Goldman Sachs Sued by SEC

Washington, D.C., April 16, 2010 — "The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged Goldman, Sachs & Co. and one of its vice presidents for defrauding investors by misstating and omitting key facts about a financial product tied to subprime mortgages as the U.S. housing market was beginning to falter.

The SEC alleges that one of the world's largest hedge funds, Paulson & Co., paid Goldman Sachs to structure a transaction in which Paulson & Co. could take short positions against mortgage securities chosen by Paulson & Co. based on a belief that the securities would experience credit events."

 See full article at:

 http://sec.gov/news/press/2010/2010-59.htm

_____________________________________________________________

Last year at  Goldman Sachs the  bonus pool on  was $16.2 billion.  This  amounts to an average of just under $500,000 per employee.

All that bonus money - Goldman gave its people, should be returned.  If the charges by the SEC are true, Goldman  did not earn their money honestly. They committed fraud.

They will need that bonus  money for their legal problems, and hopefully they will have to pay back people who were cheated.

I think its clear there is too much manipulation, corruption and general screwing around with other peoples' money on Wall Street.

Bernie Maddoff ruined many lives. He went to jail.  And his wife and family kept most of their fortune.  This was not right.  They all should have gone to jail, his wife, his sons, and his brother.  They all knew what Bernie was up too, what he was doing. The SEC screwed up too.  They failed to act on whistler blowers.

Time will tell if the SEC has a good case against Goldman.

Hedge funds - Selling short -  Lack of insider disclosures all wrong. All risky business,  huge profits and in the end, many investors get screwed.

Every one is free to make a profit.  A big profit.  But you have to do it legally. We are living among many, many cheaters.  Investing has risks, but the deck is stacked against us.  Its unfair,  and many cases not legal. These cheats should not just be fined.  They should go to jail.

I am a little investor. And I don't have a prayer.  The odds are stacked against me and others.   If Obama reform increases the tax rate on dividends and capital gains, and I am affected, I will sell my stock, and get into other kind of investments.

I cannot beat them. I cannot join them. So I will leave them.

Bart Stupak - Obama Care Sacrificial Lamb

Rep. Bart Stupak (D, MI) has announced he will retire at the end of his term.
_______________________________________________________________

"Stupak, who had played a central role in the House's passage of President Obama's healthcare legislation, had demanded antiabortion language in the bill. Instead of that, he won an executive order from the president stating that nothing in the healthcare bill that Obama signed would override an existing ban on federal funding for abortions.
 http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/dcnow/2010/04/stupak-retiring-tea-party-fight-averted.htmld

_________________________________________________________________

The Democrats needed Stupak's vote to pass the healthcare bill.  So he sacrificed  his career for the good of the party.  How pathetic, how lame.  What sad case.

What else did he do?  He scarified  his  religious convictions for the party.

He says its time to leave, to retire,  he wants to do new things.  Bye, Bye Bart.

Obama the Wonderful has done it again.

NPR has reported on April 8, 2010.

The U.S. and Russia signed their first strategic arms treaty in nearly two decades on Thursday, aiming to draw down their nuclear arsenals by as much as one-third while forging improved relations between the former Cold War rivals.

___________________________________________________________________

Obama has made another mess.

He thinks he can change  the world as he sees it, not as it is.  He is living in La La Land.  He thinks if we are nice to our enemies, they will be nice to us.

Does he think China will reduce their weapons for us?

This treaty and if passed, will not make the world safer.  It will make us weaker.

This President is so naive, so inexperienced, so ill advised, so weak, it is pathetic.

Almost every day he stirs the pot.  He just has to mess with somebody or some thing.

Health Care bill is a huge accomplishment for the Democrats - who says?

The bill, which passed 219 to 212 without a single Republican vote.

Here is what Obama really did.

Dozens and dozens of lies, distortions and half truths.

Dozens of deals.

If this is such a great win for Democrats, why is the President still trying to sell it to the America public?

If the Health Care bill is such  a huge accomplishment for the Democrats, why were there so many deals to buy votes?

How can this be called a victory?  When the Democrats have had to lie, cheat and make deals to pass this bill.  You had to cheat and be corrupt to pass this bill.  Shame on the Democrats.

Hurry up November.

Joe Biden - Full of Class. Dropped the F - bomb.

Vice President Joe Biden, perhaps overcome with excitement during his speech congratulating President Obama on the passage of health care reform, dropped an F-bomb on live television when he turned to Obama and said, "This is a big fucking deal.
 ________________________________________________________________

A lot of news people see nothing wrong with Biden.  I DO.  Its another example of how Washington behaves, how they are arrogant and they think they are privileged .  Crude and common misfits, suppose to be educated and experienced.  At nothing.

Crude Barbarian.  Hey,  Mr. V.P. did you think you were at a football game or in a bar?  You disgrace your office, and those around you.

Can you believe this guy.  Joe Biden has no class.  Try thinking for a change.

You, Mr. Biden, Vice President of the United States, are a horses ass.  And you should apologize, for what you said.

Democrats to "Deem" Health Care passes without Voting

Democrats are resorting to their tricks and distortions.

This shows two things:  one, they do not have the votes to pass this crap bill and two, the democrats are desperate.

They are as pathetic as Obama's White House.

They may get this bill through - but we'll see who win in the end.

Obama wants Health Care vote by Easter

Obama wants a health care vote to pass by Easter.  And I want a new Corvette.  Good luck, sir.

Keep pushing.  Push Pelosi.  Push her right out the door.

Push Harry Reid too.  Right out the door will be very fine.

Keep showing how you cannot govern.

Last May Wanda Sykes said at the White House Correspondents dinner with a joke about Rush Limbaugh; Sykes said that she hoped Limbaugh’s “kidney’s fail”, in response to the talk show hosts comments that he hopes the Obama administration fails.

I hope your Health care bill fails. And does not pass.

Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY) temporarily steps down from Chairman's seat

Charlie Rangel (D-NY), under the pressure of the ethics committee, has asked Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi for  leave of absence from his post as House Ways & Means Chairman.

He has taxes problems,  involving some of his properties, and " possibility  for accepting corporate money for trips to Caribbean conferences in violation of House rules."

____________________________________________________________

I say this.  If Rangel is found innocent- he should be reinstated as Chairman.

However, if Rangel is guilty of wrong doing.  He should not lose his Chairmanship - He should lose his job and step down and be asked to  leave the House.

Harry Reid does it again - Is he brain dead?

Play the video so you can see for yourself what a fool the Majority Leader really is.

/watch?v=c9wzn6j3Ep4&feature=player_embedded

I did not know Harry Reid was an expert doctor and  is concern about unemployed husbands.

_________________________________________________________________
The Fox nation reported:
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) suggested Monday that domestic violence by men has increased due to U.S. joblessness.

Reid, speaking in the midst of a Senate debate over whether to pass a $15 billion package meant to spur job creation, appeared to argue that joblessness would lead to more domestic violence.

"I met with some people while I was home dealing with domestic abuse. It has gotten out of hand," Reid said on the Senate floor. "Why? Men don't have jobs."

Reid said that the effects of joblessness on domestic violence were especially pronounced among men, because, Reid said, women tend to be less abusive.

"Women don't have jobs either, but women aren’t abusive, most of the time," he said.

"Men, when they're out of work, tend to become abusive," the majority leader added. "Our domestic crisis shelters in Nevada are jammed.”_______________________________________________________________

Harry knows the best example of a  domestic crisis shelter is the U.S. Senate - He is the
Senate Majority Leader - Not for long I hope.

Can we afford to give ACORN another $ 4 Billion?

This is old news now, but you should think about this.

Obama and his lobby bobby budget has earmarked $4 billion for his buddies at ACORN.  How nice.

Is this how Obama will pay ACORN back for their help in electing him?

My question- can we really afford this kind of spending?

Toyota Motor: No pedals from heaven

By now you have heard about the gas pedal problem at Toyota.

Big recall.  The pedal could stick and get you flying at a high speed real quick.  This is not good.

Sounds like an equipment,  flaw/defect/design problem.

Was there anything wrong with the old gas pedals, like the one on my 2002 Camry?  Why did they change the pedal.

I bet it was an engineer who was brained washed by a parts vendor into buying theses new pedals. Maybe saving Toyota lots of money for a cheaper part.

Nice move.  Now Toyota will spend lots of time and money, to fix the problem and keep its drivers from getting killed.

This reminds me how Ford and GM used to operate.

I do not feel sorry for Toyota. Toyota asked for all of this problem.

Why did it take over a year for the President to reach out to the GOP and the Democrates?

It took about 13 months for the President to try to get on the same page with the  GOP and the Democrats.

I think Washington has been asleep.  Now its time they woke up.

Did Obama do this because he wanted to, or because he had to?  Has he been asleep?

Can they all work together?  Can they get anything done?

The Democrats control the Senate and the House.  And they have a hard time getting anything done. Why?

Maybe they all realize, that if they continue on the path they were on, this country is doomed for failure.
It may even collapse.  The stock market dumped today, the DOW lost 268 points.  Its global, its not good.

I am not sure what it will take, but I do not think we can continue with government as it has been.  Things have got to change, or this country will fail.  Is the world headed for a depression?  Are you buying gold?

About, Jobs.  I do not see how we can create jobs if there is no work ( to be done ).  Caterpillar let many people go a while back. Why?  Maybe because no one was buying their equipment - the things they make.

If the government gives an incentive or a credit if you hire people - will people be hired?  I say only if you have  additional business to support the hiring of more people.  Business has to grow before it is justified to hire someone.

Manufacturing:
Where I work, if we hired more people, say two people,  these people would not make anything, they would probably clean up the place.  And do housekeeping, then when the place is cleaned up, then what? Right now we do not have the business or orders,  for these two people to make anything.  We are barely hanging on.

Everyone wants more jobs, but what will you do with  these people, if there is no work? People cannot be hired and then do nothing.  So the economy and business has to grow so new hires will be needed.  Thats the hard part.

Here are  some of the problems the Senate and the House have to address.
Social Security,  Medicare and Medicaid.  National security, two wars. Deficits.
Federal spending.  Economy and jobs.  Health care.  Size of government. All these items are in trouble.

Is it true that some of the money received for social security gets spent somewhere else?

There is a lot at stake here. Lets all hope that the President, the Senate,  and the House, can work together and get something done that will help everyone. Not just a few.

Obama Budget - Spends, barrows and steals.

House Republican Leader John Boehner has reported:

http://republicanleader.house.gov/News/DocumentSingle.aspx?DocumentID=168473

Boehner: “Another Budget That Spends Too Much, Taxes Too Much, and Borrows Too Much”
GOP Leader: “Just three days after talking to House Republicans about the importance of fiscal responsibility, President Obama is submitting another budget that spends too much, taxes too much, and borrows too much.”

Washington, Feb 1 - House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) issued the following statement commenting on President Obama’s $3.8 trillion budget proposal for fiscal year 2011:

“Just three days after talking to House Republicans about the importance of fiscal responsibility, President Obama is submitting another budget that spends too much, taxes too much, and borrows too much.

“Filled with more reckless spending and more unsustainable debt, the President’s budget is just more of the same at a time when the American people are looking for Democrats in Washington to listen and change course. Families asking ‘where are the jobs’ deserve better than more government ‘stimulus’ programs and another year of attempting to tax and spend our way to recovery. Under President Obama’s budget, the federal government will continue to live well beyond its means for years to come with no relief in sight.

“I’m pleased that the President has spoken out about the need to get our fiscal house in order, and his proposed spending freeze is certainly a good first step, though it’s already being undercut by Washington Democrats and liberal special interests. Serious fiscal responsibility requires more than a few cuts here and there at the margins. Republicans have proposed adopting strict budget caps that limit federal spending on an annual basis and are enforceable by the President. These caps were a critical plank in the
budget alternative Republicans proposed last year, led by Budget Committee Ranking Republican Paul Ryan, and they are notably absent from the President’s budget. Without these caps, the federal budget deficit will continue to spiral out of control and this broken status quo will continue.

 ____________________________________________________________________

Obama is out of his mind.  WH Budget Director Peter Orzag  has lost his mind too.  What a weak, reckless bunch of misfits we have in that WH.

Obama and his corrupt buddies are slowly but surely ruining this country.

He breaks campaign promises everyday. And gets away with it.   Damn - that's pathetic.

With this budget he is stealing our future.

Obama: Germane and Genuine?

 http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/dcnow/2010/01/obama-and-gop-square-off.html

____________________________________________________________________

Obama met with GOP leaders today in Baltimore.

We will spare the details. Follow the link above for more of the story.

Its MOTS - more of the same, different place,  different time.  I watched some of the show.  Lots of I's and me's by the President.  He loves a forum - loves the limelight,  me, me, me.

I am not buying any of it.  This was part of a grand plan  to do more (damage control - via Massachusetts and the Scott Brown win.

He needs to learn that a little trust will go a long way.  His WH needs to learn this also.

Time will tell if this reach out will work, and have any value.

Obama: State of the Union

Hang on to your hats.

This address should be very special. Watch him use the words, I and me.

I predict you will hear "new and distorted" numbers and statistics that no one but Obama and his WH knows about.

Lets hope its not as bad as Valerie Jarrettes' thousands of jobs remark.  And Robert Gibb's 1.5 jobs created remark.  And David Axelrod's 2 million job remark.

Just watch.  It will be utterly amazing.  Your head will be spinning when Obama starts his spin and is done with the lies. We might not hear "You Lie" - but plenty will be thinking of it.

He is going to make everything look great -  and he will diminish  the problems as if they did not hardly exist.

He will probably outline his new select government spending freeze.  And how he going to help the middle class -
(to hell with everyone else).  This will be more of his nonsense.

Keep track of the lies, distortions. You will see lots of smoke and mirrors. He is the master, he will mystify - some, but not all.

Watch for all the phony smiles from his corrupt buddies, like Pelosi,  Dood,  Reid, and others,  you know the list.
This will be fun.

I am planning to watch this spectacle, I only hope I can sleep after he is finished with his speech.  I just know I am going to have a headache.  So I will just take a few ibuprofen  before he starts.

Obama: Worst than Jimmy Carter.

Another day in paradise.

Obama and his pathetic White House have made more mistakes in one year than Carter made in four years as President.  They are hopeless.

This President does not know what he is doing. He makes changes as he goes along.  This is what happens when you do not know what you are doing,  when you are weak, when you do not have a clue.

He is radioactive,  everything he touches  turns to crap.  So do not go near him.

Sunday he went to Boston, to campaign  and ensure a win for  Martha Coakley from defeat in a special Senate race for Ted Kennedy's seat.   Scott Brown won.  Another Obama failure.

Obamacare and health care reform is all but dead.  Obama failure again.

Now Obama wants to tax big banks.  He wants reforms and legislation so they will never become to big fail.
His proposal would prevent firms with banks from investing in hedge funds, doing proprietary trading.

Another reform would bar large banks from using their own funds to trade financial instruments in the hope of making big profits for their own accounts. They would also be barred from owning hedge funds or private-equity funds.

This will turn out to be another Obama transfer tax. He will take the money from the banks - give it to the Treasury of other unworthy parties, and then the banks will get their money back from us.

So what did he solve?  Is this reform going to create more  jobs?  Or will we lose more jobs?

Commentator David Frum outlines his viewpoint>

"The president has endorsed a tax on banks by size to collect a projected $90 billion over the next 10 years. The president argues that the tax will help repay taxpayer losses in the TARP bailout program for banks.

It's a crummy argument. Most of the TARP losses will be racked up not at banks, but at the AIG insurance company and the rescued automakers, GM and Chrysler. No tax for them."

Here is what Mr. Tough Guy - Obama said............

Obama seemed to welcome the industry’s opposition. “If these folks want a fight, it’s a fight I’m willing to have,” the president said. He also criticized the “soaring profits and obscene bonuses,” at financial firms that say they are still unable to make loans to American businesses. He warned the financial industry to “work with us and not against us.”

Obama ship is listing, ready to sink

Last night many witnessed the stunning Scott  Brown's victory, beating Attorney General Martha Coakley for the Senate seat held by Ted Kennedy.  The  defeat of a  Massachusetts Democrat,  should open Obama's eyes,  the White House and the rest of democrats how very badly things can go.

Many have criticized Martha Coakley for being lax and not really trying to win the election, she went on vacation, December 19 to January 6, with no campaigning.

Many think that this election would surely be won by a Democrat,  but it did not work this time.  This is what happens when you are too sure of yourself, to lazy to fight for all votes and maybe you do not belong in this election race  in first place.

On Sunday last. Obama flew to Boston, to campaign for Martha Coakley, as he did in New Jersey to support Jon Corzine for his governor race. It did not work.

Obama mocked Brown and his pick up truck.  Obama saying "you might not want to get  in that truck with Martha's opponent, it might not take you where you want to go."

This is typical Obama rhetoric.  Obama is in trouble now, because many people "do not want to ride with Obama" . They have seen his lies, half truths, distortions, and they are sick of it.

There are some similar  issues concerning the politics of  Obama  and Coakley.

Both were too sure of themselves.
Both were counting on history,  rather than reality.  Democrats would win this race.
In the beginning, Obama just gave the Senate and House a nibble on heath care, never was clear or had enough transparency.  The the Senate bill failed, had to be rewritten, full of deals, bribes and closed door corruption. Obama, Harry Reid and others, just compounded to the problems of a terrible health care bill.

Obama should have seen this coming.  But he was like Coakley,  she thought a Democrat would surely win the Senate seat held by Kennedy for nearly 47 years.   WRONG.

Obama thought because of his charm, rhetoric, and the arrogant Democratic majority, that heath care would surely pass.
Well it might, but not yet.

Obama, his weak White House, and the Democrats have a lot to worry about.

They may get a health care bill for  Obama to sign by his state of the nation speech.   But they will get little else.  They have a lot of damage control work to do.

There will more damage, in the 2010, mid term elections in November.

That's when the ship will really begin to sink for Obama.

President Obama to do a drive by in Massachusetts to save Martha Coakley and shoot the Republicans

 Fox News Reports:

President Obama is headed to Massachusetts Sunday to campaign for Democrat Martha Coakley, whose race against Republican Scott Brown has narrowed to a toss-up as voters zero in on the cost of a massive health insurance bill in Congress.
__________________________________________________________________________

If some of Obama's  campaign speech for Martha Coakley are televised - do yourself a favor.

Count the number times he will tell lies, distort the truth, about Coakley and health care.

Obama - Mr. Tough Guy

The LA Times has reported.
President Obama, with House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer and Speaker Nancy Pelosi, told the group: "If Republicans want to campaign against what we've done, by standing up for the status quo and for insurance companies over American families and businesses, that is a fight I want to have." (Ron Sachs, Pool Photo / January 14, 2010)
________________________________________________________________
"Organized labor had bitterly opposed the health care tax, arguing that union members had negotiated generous benefits in lieu of pay increases."

So Obama caves in again, like he always does.  And his cronies are right beside him in another closed door session of congress.

Read what your president, Mr. Tough Guy has said.

"If Republicans want to campaign against what we've done, by standing up for the status quo and for insurance companies over American families and businesses, that is a fight I want to have."

Wow. The  Corrupt Chicago president is alive and well.  Now he looking for a fight.   You will be looking for  the fight of your political career very soon.  So keep your game face on.

Very attentive, just like when he was vacationing in Hawaii, and it took him three days to respond to the near-miss attack by the underwear bomber on Flight 253  over Detroit.

We can see how much you are for the people, not all people. Just some people.  Like union and labor people, or better - union and labor (VOTES).

Thank you. Mr. President for caring for only some Americans. You are not fooling anyone.

We know you speak out of both sides of your mouth, we are just not sure if its the right side or the left side.

Tomorrow is another day, with another set of lies, distortions, and corruption.

UAW and Unions need to stop the crying and grow up

Its not my life time goal to bash unions.  You are hanging on by a thread and you know it. You use every scheme possible, every bit of political shenanigans possible, to get what you want - and to hell with everyone else.

Every benefit you get has a cost. That cost is passed on to the consumer. You get the benefit. The rest of us gets screwed. Because we have to pay for that cost.

Yes I will agree that unions had a place in manufacturing many years ago. I was a union member too, steel worker.  Long time ago.

Yes I will admit unions have helped many people, helped the conditions in the work place.

But in many cases, they hurt many industries, and helped closed many plants.  Pittsburgh once had a lot of steel plants.

Bethlehem Steel, PA was a major steel producer.  Now the old steel mill is a new casino.

Several years ago, when the UAW were negotiating, and finally settled, here is some of  what Ford "gave the membership."
Members with enough time working for Ford were given $2000 a years for college expenses for their kids - very noble.  They were given  money to purchase computers and internet service. Nice benefit. There were other goodies above and beyond what all the UAW settled for.

Ford Motor Company was so proud that they were able to give their employees such benefits.  But this is untrue, it was not Ford or the union that gave these benefits - it was the guy who bought the cars who provided these benefits. No car sales - no benefits.  Remember 2007 and 2008 when the auto companies were broke, bankrupt, and busted.

GM build car plants in China.  More cars  are made there than here.  Does that tell you anything?  Unions that push too hard, will push the  the company to close the doors in America and go overseas.

Certain workers can benefit from labor unions. But everyone cannot be in a union. Its impossible.  So the situation is one sided.  The current members are the only ones that benefit. Its not balanced.

Car prices rise almost every year. Some of that cost can be associated with management greed and union demands.  Instead of the unions and management working together to keep cost low, they continue a vicious cycle of greed and outlandish union demands.

This cycle never gets broken. So it is destine to fail. And fail it did.  The government and taxpayer had to bail out GM and Chrysler. The great companies the the UAW works for.

Lately, unions have cried, and won unfair concessions against the health care provisions involving " Cadillac health care plans."  The tax that was to be placed on these plans will not apply to certain labor unions. This is unfair to everyone else.

I think it is ironic that these plans are referred to as "Cadillac Plans".  Is it because Cadillac cars were so very expensive, and special, that only the rich could but them?  They were not affordable for everyone. Just like these health care plans they reference, they are only for the rich, the elite, the privileged,  the Congress. And now Unions.

This is an outrage.

I am as mad as hell - because every benefit a union member gets, I pay for some of that benefit if I buy your product.  So do not thank Ford, GM or Chrysler for what you have, thank the guy who bought the car you make.

It must be a group of dangerous people.  Its must be criminals or maybe terrorists. Are they making secrets?

ITS YOUR GOVERNMENT  - dangerous and hard at work on the health care bill.  Hiding from view. Hiding from you

Not on C-Span like we were promised.

Like children whispering.

Talking behind your back.

Obama gives his union buddies a break and punishes the banks

The Wall Street Journal has reported:
WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--The head of the largest group of U.S. labor unions urged congressional lawmakers to support an excise tax on the rich to pay for sweeping health-care legislation, saying that a tax on generous health-care plans would "drive a wedge between the middle class and the poor."

Richard Trumka, president of the AFL-CIO, said in a speech Monday that lawmakers should implement the proposed payment method outlined in the House version of the health-care bill, rather than that in the Senate version that would tax so-called "cadillac" health-care insurance plans.
"The tax on benefits in the Senate bill pits working Americans who need health care for their families against working Americans struggling to keep health care for their families," he said. "This is a policy designed to benefit elites."

Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Union leaders hailed an agreement with the White House on Thursday on changes to health-care legislation that they said will lessen the impact on union members and older workers of a tax on pricey health insurance plans.
Union plans negotiated under collective bargaining agreements and state and local employee plans would be exempt from that tax until 2018, the union officials said on a conference call with reporters.

Barrie McKenna
Washington — Globe and Mail Update

‘We want our money back, and we're going to get it,' U.S. President vows, as he unveils details of tax on the country's largest banksThe $90-billion (U.S.) tax – to be levied on about 50 companies for up to a dozen years – makes for good politics. As Mr. Obama pointed out, Americans are angry and hurting because of the recession – a recession banks helped trigger with their “reckless risks in pursuit of short-term profits and soaring bonuses.”

“Using tax policy to punish people is a bad idea,” JPMorgan Chase & Co. CEO James Dimon told reporters after a hearing in Washington. Mr. Dimon said it would be unfair for banks to be left shouldering the cost of the auto bailout.

And other companies that haven't, including General Motors Co. and Chrysler, won't have to pay at all. Others, such as government-controlled Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, aren't in good enough financial shape to pay, according to administration officials.
 _____________________________________________________________________

Help the unions - punish the banks.

Another Obama special interest buy out.

Why should union members get a break?  Are they the only workers in America.

The management and  auto workers had a lot to do with the failure of GM and Chrysler.  So now we will reward failure.  Just like affirmative action.  How pathetic.  This is wrong.   Typical Obama and democrats politics.

What about the rest of us?  We do not count.  Only union votes count.

Everything Obama does is political - he does not care about all Americans

I need a new car. My car has 130,000 miles, is 8 years old,  it's Camry.  I am very interested in the Chevy Malibu.
But after this news, I will not be buying a Malibu.  I am mad as hell.

I do not think the auto workers need me to buy one of their cars. They are getting a break on heath care so they will have extra money.

Maybe I will not buy anything from a union shop.

Maybe  I should  ask Richard Trumka what I should do.  What car should I buy?  A Camry, a Honda, or a Malibu?

(FILE PHOTO) Mark McGwire Admits To Steroid Use
 ______________________________________________________________________________

 USA today has reported-
Mark McGwire finally admitted Monday what he couldn't tell a Congressional committee nearly five years ago: His home-run hitting exploits, including his stirring 1998 run to the single-season record, were fueled in part by steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs.

_______________________________________________________________________________

Its not the game - its the games the players play.

So insure and perform- they cheat.  So afraid they will be replaced, they take drugs so they can perform and stay ahead of the curve. Terrified they will lose money, fans, and life style. They cheat.

We must have rules and laws.  If we don't then we have chaos. The sport becomes artificial, not real.

Here is the outrage.  Professional and some amateur athletes feel its ok to take performance-enhancing drugs. They feel everyone does it.  Why should I be different?  Even the fan say its ok.  Well its not ok.  No Way!

You are professional- you are a role model. If you have the guts to be one.  You were hired to do a job, but to do that job you have to cheat.

Professional athletes should be strong, unflappable, tough.  But many are not.  Just weak, privileged celebrities.

I use to like baseball - now I hate it.

Harry Reid: How many times can you be sorry?

Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) speaks on health care in Washington

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says his description of Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential bid as "light skinned" and "with no Negro dialect" was "a poor choice of words."

A new book about the campaign, "Game Change," by Time magazine reporter Mark Halperin and New York magazine writer John Heileman, said Reid, in private conservations, described Obama as "light-skinned" and with "no Negro dialect."

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid apologized to President Barack Obama on Saturday for comments he made during the 2008 presidential campaign that critics find racially offensive.
 _________________________________________________________________________________

Harry Reid is stupid. And he should apologize to the American people for being so stupid.  Harry YOU ARE PATHETIC.  You are not worthy to be  the Senate Majority Leader.

You apologized , now do the right thing and leave.

Please. Go back to Nevada  ASAP.

Mayo Clinic in Arizona refuses to accept certain Medicare patients

From Bloomberg.com.

The Mayo Clinic, praised by President Barack Obama as a national model for efficient health care, will stop accepting Medicare patients as of tomorrow at one of its primary-care clinics in Arizona, saying the U.S. government pays too little.

The Mayo organization had 3,700 staff physicians and scientists and treated 526,000 patients in 2008. It lost $840 million last year on Medicare, the government’s health program for the disabled and those 65 and older, Mayo spokeswoman Lynn Closway said. Mayo’s hospital and four clinics in Arizona, including the Glendale facility, lost $120 million on Medicare patients last year, Yardley said. The program’s payments cover about 50 percent of the cost of treating elderly primary-care patients at the Glendale clinic, he said.
“We firmly believe that Medicare needs to be reformed,” Yardley said in a Dec. 23 e-mail. “It has been true for many years that Medicare payments no longer reflect the increasing cost of providing services for patients.”
Mayo will assess the financial effect of the decision in Glendale to drop Medicare patients “to see if it could have implications beyond Arizona,” he said.

Nationwide, doctors made about 20 percent less for treating Medicare patients than they did caring for privately insured patients in 2007, a payment gap that has remained stable during the last decade, according to a March report by the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, a panel that advises Congress on Medicare issues. Congress last week postponed for two months a 21.5 percent cut in Medicare reimbursements for doctors.
Read the whole article here. The policy change only affects the Mayo clinic in Arizona, for now. Keep in mind, the decision to deny new Medicare patients comes before passage of Democrat plans to cut around $500 billion from Medicare.

 ________________________________________________________________________________

I have warned, with the new health care reform bill we will pay more and get less. This is a outrage.

The health care bill will not help all seniors.

But if you live in the states that got bribed by Harry Reid, such as Louisiana, Florida,Connecticut, Nebraska and a few others, then you might be ok.

The health care reform bill has passed the Senate, but not the House yet.  And there are problems already.

More doctors and hospitals will probably refuse to accept and see  Medicare patients, because they feel Medicare does not pay them enough.

Just like medical pre-conditions were treated in the bill, the bill should have demanded, that people on Medicare cannot be refused. care and treatment.

This bill will allow the treatment for illegal immigrants, but it won't help its own senior citizens, or help you fully, if you are on Medicare.

Shame on the Senate. You get to keep your Cadillac insurance policy from the government group plan.  We have to settle for what is left. We always get the leftover.  Just like surfs.

What an outrage, what hypocrisy.  Many of these Senators do not care about the people who got them elected.  So now  many of the people who voted for these Senators,  will not care about them.
